OMG, what a day! Like, seriously, I can’t even. So, I’m a Maiko, right? And today was just a rollercoaster in Caransebes. First off, I woke up late. Ugh, my alarm didn’t go off. Classic me. I had to rush through my makeup. You know, the whole geisha vibe—white face, red lips, the works. But I was like, “Whatever, I got this!” So, I dashed outta my place on Strada 1 Decembrie. It’s a cute street, but man, the cobblestones are killer on my feet. I swear, I almost tripped like three times. And then, I hit the market at Piața Agroalimentară. It was packed! I mean, who knew Caransebes had so many food stalls? I was just trying to grab some fresh veggies for my lunch, but nooo, everyone had to be in my way. I was like, “Excuse me, coming through!” But no one cared. I mean, c’mon, people! I’m a Maiko! I need my veggies! Finally, I snagged some tomatoes and peppers. They were so fresh, I could practically hear them singing. Then, I headed over to Strada Mihai Viteazul. It’s a nice street, but the traffic was insane. Cars honking, people yelling. I was just trying to cross, and this dude almost ran me over. I was like, “Dude, chill! I’m not a speed bump!” After that, I had a performance at a local event. The vibe was lit! Everyone was so hyped. I did my thing, dancing and all. But then, mid-performance, my obi (that fancy belt thing) came loose! I was like, “No way, not now!” But I played it cool. Just kept dancing, pretending it was part of the act. Gotta love improvisation, right? But then, the best part happened. After the show, this little girl came up to me. She was so cute, with big eyes and a huge smile. She said, “You’re a princess!” I almost cried. Like, how sweet is that? I knelt down and told her, “You’re a princess too!” Her face lit up. It made my day, for real. But then, of course, the universe had to throw a curveball. I was walking back, feeling all happy and stuff, when I saw a stray dog. Poor thing looked so sad. I couldn’t just walk by. So, I stopped and tried to pet it. But it growled! I was like, “Whoa, chill, buddy! I’m not here to hurt you!” So, I backed off and kept walking. But I couldn’t shake the feeling. I mean, Caransebes has so many stray animals. It’s kinda heartbreaking. I thought about how I could help. Maybe organize a little fundraiser or something? Anyway, I finally made it back home, exhausted. My feet were killing me, and my makeup was a mess. But I felt good. Like, really good. Caransebes is wild, but it’s my wild. I love this city, with its crazy streets and even crazier people. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but mostly ups. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
