Man, what a day! I swear, being a shepherd in Castelu is like being in a soap opera sometimes. So, I wake up early, right? Like, before the roosters even think about crowing. I’m out there, just me and my sheep, chillin’ on the hills near the village. But today? Oh boy, today was a whole different story. First off, I decide to head into town. I’m thinking, “Hey, let’s grab some fresh bread from the market on Strada Principală.” You know, the one that’s always packed with people? So I’m strutting down the street, feeling all proud with my shepherd’s stick, and boom! I trip over a rock. Classic me, right? I’m like, “Really? A rock? In the middle of the street?” Anyway, I get to the market, and it’s buzzing. People everywhere, shouting, laughing, and I’m just trying to get my bread. I finally find the baker, old man Ion. He’s got this huge smile, and I’m like, “Gimme that bread, man!” But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by and knocks over a whole basket of apples. Apples everywhere! I’m dodging apples like I’m in some weird fruit dodgeball game. I finally get my bread, but then I see my buddy, Mihai, at the café on Strada Călărași. He’s got this wild look in his eyes. Turns out, he just bought a new sheepdog. I’m like, “Dude, you know those things are trouble, right?” But he’s all excited, showing off this little furball. I can’t help but laugh. “You’re gonna regret that, man!” So, we’re chatting, and I’m feeling good. But then, I hear this commotion. Some guy is yelling about a missing goat. I’m thinking, “Not my problem,” but then I see it’s my neighbor, Vasile. He’s losing his mind! I mean, come on, it’s just a goat! But Vasile? He treats that goat like it’s his child. I help him look for it, and we end up near the old church on Strada Mănăstirii. And guess what? The goat is just chilling there, munching on some grass like it’s on vacation. I’m like, “Vasile, your goat is living its best life!” He’s relieved, but I can’t stop laughing. After all that drama, I decide to head back home. But wait! I see this street performer on Strada Tineretului. He’s playing the accordion, and it’s actually pretty good. I stop to listen, and before I know it, I’m tapping my foot and smiling like a fool. It’s amazing how music can just lift your spirits, you know? But then, outta nowhere, it starts to rain. Like, seriously? I’m soaked in seconds. I’m running back home, bread in one hand, trying to cover my head with the other. I’m slipping and sliding all over the place. I’m laughing and cursing at the same time. “This is just perfect!” Finally, I get home, drenched but happy. I sit down with my bread, and I’m thinking about the day. It was wild, emotional, and just plain crazy. Castelu, man, it’s got its charm. The streets, the people, the unexpected moments. It’s like a rollercoaster, and I’m just hanging on for the ride. So yeah, that was my day. Just another day in Castelu, full of surprises and a bit of chaos. But hey, that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
