Man, what a day! I swear, Certeze really knows how to throw a curveball. Woke up thinking it’d be just another boring Tuesday, ya know? But nah, life had other plans. So, I’m rollin’ outta bed, half-asleep, and I remember I gotta finish those tax reports. Ugh, the joy of being an accountant, right? I grab my coffee, and it’s like the universe is laughing at me. Spill it all over my favorite shirt. Great start, right? I hop on the bus on Strada Principală, and it’s packed. Like, sardines in a can packed. I’m squished between this dude who smells like he just wrestled a goat and a lady with a million bags. Certeze, man. You gotta love it. Finally get to the office, and guess what? The printer’s jammed. Classic. I’m wrestling with it like it’s a wild animal. I’m sweating, cursing under my breath. “Come on, you piece of junk!” I’m pretty sure the whole office heard me. Then, my boss walks in. He’s all smiles, like he doesn’t have a care in the world. “Hey, how’s it going?” I’m like, “Dude, you don’t wanna know.” But I just nod and smile. Gotta keep the peace, right? Lunchtime rolls around, and I decide to hit up that little place on Strada Libertății. You know, the one with the best mici? I’m craving those bad boys. I get there, and the line is out the door. Seriously? I’m about to lose it. But I wait. Because, you know, food. Finally get my mici, and they’re glorious. I take a bite, and it’s like fireworks in my mouth. I’m in heaven. But then, I see this kid drop his ice cream right in front of me. Poor little dude. I’m torn between laughing and feeling bad. I mean, it’s just ice cream, but it’s also a tragedy. After lunch, I head back to the office, and guess what? My computer crashes. Just my luck. I’m staring at the screen like it’s gonna magically fix itself. Spoiler alert: it doesn’t. I’m about to lose my mind. Then, outta nowhere, my coworker, Ana, bursts in. She’s all excited, talking about some festival happening in Certeze this weekend. “You gotta come! It’s gonna be epic!” I’m like, “Sure, if I survive today.” But honestly, I’m kinda intrigued. Certeze knows how to throw a party. The day drags on, and I’m just counting down the minutes. Finally, it’s 5 PM. I’m outta there like a rocket. I hit up Strada Tineretului, where they have this cool little park. I just wanna chill for a bit. Sitting on a bench, I see this old man feeding pigeons. He’s got this huge smile, and it’s contagious. I can’t help but smile too. Certeze has its moments, ya know? But then, I see a group of teenagers blasting music. It’s so loud, I can’t even think. I’m like, “Dude, turn it down!” But they’re just vibing, living their best lives. I guess I can’t blame them. As the sun sets, I’m walking home, and I can’t help but think about the day. It was a rollercoaster. From printer jams to delicious mici, to random festivals. Certeze, you crazy little town. You keep me on my toes. I get home, plop on the couch, and just laugh. What a day. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
