Man, what a day! I swear, Cetate really knows how to throw a curveball. Woke up this morning, sun shining, birds chirping, thought it was gonna be chill. LOL, boy was I wrong! First off, I hit up Strada 1 Decembrie. You know, the one with all the cute cafes? I was craving a coffee, like, NEEDING it. So I stroll in, and guess what? They’re outta coffee! Like, how do you run outta coffee? It’s a cafe, not a bakery! I was ready to throw a fit. But then, this cute barista, with a smile that could light up the whole street, offered me a chai latte instead. I mean, chai? Really? But hey, I’m not picky when I’m desperate. So I took it. Sippin’ on my chai, I decided to walk down Strada Libertății. It’s such a vibe, man. The old buildings, the street art, people just livin’ their best lives. I was feelin’ good, ya know? But then, outta nowhere, this pigeon swoops down and almost takes my chai! Like, dude, chill! I’m not your personal barista! I laughed it off, but seriously, that bird had some guts. Then I hit up the Cetate Park. It’s like the heart of the city, right? I was just chillin’ on a bench, people-watching. There was this kid, maybe 5 years old, running around like a maniac. He trips, falls, and starts crying. I’m like, “Oh no, here we go.” But then, his mom swoops in, gives him a hug, and he’s back up like nothing happened. Kids are resilient, man. I wish I could bounce back like that. After that, I decided to check out the Cetate Fortress. I mean, it’s a must-see, right? Climbing up those stairs, I was huffin’ and puffin’. But when I got to the top? WHOA. The view was insane! You could see the whole city, the rooftops, the hills in the distance. I felt like I was on top of the world. Took a million pics, of course. Gotta flex on the ‘gram, right? But then, I overheard this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting. They were on the edge of the fortress, and I was like, “Please don’t fall, I don’t need that drama today.” I mean, love is wild, but come on! Get it together, people! So, I’m walking back down, still buzzing from the view, and I decide to grab some street food. You know, the good stuff. I hit up this food truck on Strada Unirii. They had the best mici! I’m talking juicy, spicy, and just perfect. I was in heaven. But then, I dropped one on the ground. UGH! I was so mad! Like, why does this always happen to me? By now, it’s getting late, and I’m tired but happy. I stroll back to my car, parked near Strada Tineretului. But wait! My car won’t start! Are you kidding me? I’m just trying to get home! I’m sitting there, banging the steering wheel, like it’s gonna magically fix itself. Finally, after what felt like forever, I called a friend. He came to rescue me, and we ended up laughing about my day. I mean, it was a rollercoaster, but that’s life in Cetate, right? Full of surprises, ups and downs, and a whole lotta character. So yeah, that was my day. Intense, emotional, and totally unforgettable. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
