Man, what a day! I swear, being a glazier in Ciocanesti is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. First job was on Strada Principala. This old lady, bless her heart, wanted her window fixed. I get there, and she’s got this ancient frame, like, it’s older than my grandma. I’m trying to be all professional, but inside I’m like, “How the heck am I gonna fix this?” I mean, it’s practically a museum piece! So, I’m measuring, cutting, and boom! I drop the glass. It shatters everywhere. I’m standing there, heart racing, thinking, “Great, now I’m gonna be the town’s laughing stock.” But the old lady just laughs! She’s like, “Don’t worry, dear. I’ve had worse days.” I’m thinking, “Lady, you have no idea!” After that, I head over to Strada Tineretului. This place is buzzing! Kids are playing, people are chatting, and I’m just trying to navigate through the crowd with my tools. I swear, it’s like an obstacle course. I almost tripped over a dog. Seriously, why do people let their dogs roam free? Anyway, I get to this café, and the owner, a dude named Ion, is like, “Hey, can you fix my shop window? It’s cracked.” I’m like, “Sure, no prob.” But then he tells me he wants it done in an hour. An hour?! I’m thinking, “Dude, I’m not a magician!” But I nod and get to work. While I’m working, this group of tourists walks by. They’re snapping pics of everything. I’m like, “Hey, I’m the real attraction here!” But they don’t even notice me. Just my luck, right? I mean, Ciocanesti is beautiful, with the mountains in the background and all, but come on! So, I’m sweating bullets, trying to get this window done. I finally finish, and Ion’s all smiles. He hands me a coffee as a thank you. I’m like, “Dude, you’re the best!” But then I spill it all over myself. Classic me, right? Next, I head to Strada Florilor. This is where it gets wild. I’m fixing a window for a bakery. The smell of fresh bread is intoxicating! I’m in heaven. But then, the baker, a big guy named Mihai, starts chatting me up about his secret recipe. I’m like, “Bro, I’m just here for the glass!” But he’s relentless. Suddenly, the power goes out. Just my luck! I’m standing there in the dark, holding a piece of glass, and I’m like, “What now?” Mihai starts cracking jokes about how I should just use the moonlight. I’m laughing, but inside I’m fuming. Finally, the power comes back, and I finish up. Mihai gives me a loaf of bread as a thank you. I’m like, “This day is turning around!” But then I realize I have no cash for lunch. Ugh! So, I decide to head to the park on Strada Lalelelor. I plop down on a bench, munching on my bread, feeling like a king. But then, out of nowhere, this kid runs by and knocks my bread outta my hands! I’m like, “Seriously?!” The kid just giggles and runs off. I can’t even be mad. As the sun sets, I’m walking home, reflecting on the day. Ciocanesti is wild, man. It’s got its quirks, its charm, and a whole lotta surprises. I love this place, even when it drives me nuts. So yeah, that was my day. Just another crazy, emotional ride in Ciocanesti. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
