Man, what a day! I swear, Ciurea really knows how to throw a curveball. Woke up late, as usual. Alarm? Nah, who needs that? So, I’m rushing outta my apartment on Strada 1 Decembrie, coffee in hand, looking like a hot mess. I mean, I had that “I just rolled outta bed” vibe going on. First stop, the bakery on Strada Principala. Gotta get my fix, right? I’m standing there, waiting for my croissant, and this old dude starts chatting me up about the weather. Like, bro, it’s Romania, it’s always unpredictable! One minute it’s sunny, the next it’s pouring. I’m just nodding, trying to be polite, but inside I’m like, “C’mon, I need my pastry!” Finally, I grab my croissant and bolt outta there. Next, I head to the park near the Ciurea train station. It’s a nice spot, but today? Ugh. Kids everywhere, screaming, running around like they own the place. I’m just trying to enjoy my breakfast, but nooo, they’re playing tag right next to me. I almost lost it when one of them bumped into my leg. Like, chill, kid! I’m not your punching bag! Then, outta nowhere, I see this cute dog. A golden retriever, just chilling. I’m like, “Aww, look at you!” But then, the owner? Total jerk. He’s yelling at the dog for no reason. I’m standing there, fuming. Like, dude, it’s a dog! Not a robot! I wanted to say something, but I just rolled my eyes and walked away. After that, I decided to take a stroll down Strada Călărași. It’s a pretty street, but today it felt like a runway for bad moods. Everyone was grumpy. I mean, c’mon, it’s a beautiful day! But nope, people were just shuffling along, heads down. I tried to smile at a few, but they looked at me like I was crazy. Whatever, I’m not here to make friends. So, I’m walking, minding my own business, when I spot this little café. It’s got the best coffee in Ciurea, no joke. I walk in, and the barista? She’s super chill. We start chatting, and I’m feeling good again. She tells me about this art exhibit happening later. I’m like, “Count me in!” Finally, something to look forward to! But then, as I’m leaving, I trip over a loose tile. Seriously? I’m fine, but my pride? Oof. I look around, hoping no one saw me. Of course, there’s this group of teenagers laughing. Great. Just great. I give them a glare, but they just laugh harder. Whatever, I’m over it. Later, I head to the exhibit. It’s at the old community center on Strada Tineretului. The art is amazing! I’m talking vibrant colors, wild shapes. I’m feeling inspired, ya know? But then, I overhear this guy complaining about the art. Like, dude, it’s subjective! Not everything has to be a Picasso! I wanted to tell him to chill, but I just sipped my wine instead. As the night goes on, I’m feeling all the feels. Happy, annoyed, surprised. Ciurea is wild, man. It’s got its ups and downs, but that’s what makes it real. I’m walking home, thinking about the day. It was chaotic, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So, yeah, that was my day in Ciurea. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of drama. Just another day in the life, I guess!
