Man, today was a wild ride in Cogealac! Like, seriously, I can’t even. Woke up thinking it’d be a chill day. Spoiler alert: it was NOT. So, I’m rollin’ outta bed, right? The sun’s shining, birds chirping, all that cliché stuff. I grab my coffee from the corner shop on Strada Principală. Best coffee in town, no cap. I’m sippin’ it, feeling like a boss, when I hear this loud crash. Like, what the heck? I turn around, and there’s this dude on a bike, totally wiped out. I mean, he’s sprawled out on the pavement like a pancake. I rush over, half-expecting him to be all “I’m fine, bro!” But nah, he’s just groaning. I help him up, and he’s like, “Thanks, man. I thought I was gonna die!” I’m like, “Dude, it’s just a bike. You’re not in a movie.” But honestly, I was low-key worried. Cogealac’s streets can be brutal, especially around the market on Strada Cogealac. After that drama, I head to the market. It’s packed, as usual. Vendors shouting, people haggling. I love it! But then, I see this old lady trying to sell some homemade jams. I’m a sucker for jams, so I stop. She’s got this wild assortment—peach, raspberry, even some weird chili jam. I’m like, “Chili jam? Really?” She just winks and says, “You’ll love it, trust me.” I buy a jar, and she gives me a discount. Score! But then, as I’m walking away, I trip over a stray cat. Like, come on! Cogealac’s got enough stray cats. I’m pretty sure they run the place. I’m laughing, but also kinda mad. Next, I decide to hit up the park near Strada Mării. It’s a nice spot, you know? Trees, benches, the whole vibe. I plop down, ready to enjoy my jam. But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, kicks a soccer ball, and it smacks me right in the face. I’m like, “What the actual heck?!” The kid just yells, “Sorry!” and keeps running. I can’t even be mad. It’s Cogealac, man. So, I’m sitting there, nursing my bruised ego, when I see a couple having a picnic. They’re all lovey-dovey, and I’m like, “Ugh, get a room!” But then, they invite me over. I’m like, “Sure, why not?” We end up chatting about life, love, and the best places to eat in Cogealac. They recommend this place on Strada Tineretului. I make a mental note. As the sun starts to set, I’m feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. But then, I remember I left my bag at the market. Panic mode activated! I sprint back, dodging people like I’m in an obstacle course. Finally, I get there, and my bag is still there! Thank you, Cogealac! I grab it and head home, exhausted but happy. Today was a rollercoaster. I laughed, I got mad, I made new friends. Cogealac, you crazy little town, you never fail to surprise me. Can’t wait for tomorrow!
