Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still buzzing from all the craziness in Colceag. Like, who knew this little town could pack such a punch? I mean, I’m a mountain guide, right? I’m used to the wild, but today was a whole different beast. So, I wake up, ready to hit the trails, but nah, life had other plans. I’m chillin’ on Strada Principală, grabbing my morning coffee at that cute little café, you know, the one with the blue awning? Yeah, that one. I’m just sippin’ my espresso, thinking about the mountains, when BOOM! A cat jumps on my table. Like, what the heck? I’m not a cat person, but this little furball had some serious attitude. It just stared at me like, “What are you gonna do about it?” I laughed, but also, I was like, “Dude, I’m trying to enjoy my coffee here!” After that, I decided to take a stroll down Strada Tineretului. It’s a nice street, you know? Trees everywhere, kids playing, and the sun shining. I’m feeling good, vibing with the locals. Then, outta nowhere, I hear this loud honking. I turn around, and it’s this old dude in a beat-up Dacia, yelling at some poor cyclist. I mean, come on, man! Chill out! It’s not like the cyclist was trying to steal your lunch money. I was ready to jump in and be like, “Hey, grandpa, take a chill pill!” But I just kept walking. Not my circus, not my monkeys, right? Then I hit up the market on Strada Muncii. Oh man, the smells! Fresh fruits, veggies, and that homemade cheese? To die for! I’m loading up on some goodies when I spot this old lady selling flowers. She’s got this huge smile, and I’m like, “You know what? I’ll buy some flowers.” So I grab a bunch of sunflowers. They’re bright, they’re happy, just like me—well, most of the time. But then, as I’m leaving, I trip over a loose cobblestone. Classic me, right? I’m sprawled out on the ground, sunflowers flying everywhere. I hear some giggles, and I’m like, “Great, now I’m the town clown.” But whatever, I laugh it off. Gotta keep it light, ya know? Later, I decide to hit the trails. I’m pumped! I drive up to the hills near Colceag, and the view? Wow. Just wow. You can see the whole town from up there. It’s like a postcard. But then, I realize I forgot my water. Ugh! Rookie mistake! I’m out there, sweating like a pig, and I’m like, “Why do I do this to myself?” But then, I see this family hiking with their dog. They’re all smiles, and the dog is just living its best life. I’m like, “Okay, maybe I’m not the only one who’s a little nuts.” We chat for a bit, and they tell me about this hidden waterfall nearby. I’m intrigued! So, I follow them, and let me tell you, it was worth it. The waterfall was stunning! I mean, I’m talking Instagram-worthy. I snap a few pics, feeling like a pro. As I’m heading back, I can’t help but think about how Colceag is full of surprises. One minute you’re sipping coffee, the next you’re tripping over cobblestones, and then you’re finding waterfalls. It’s wild! By the time I get back to my car, I’m exhausted but happy. I drive back through the streets, feeling grateful for this little town. Colceag, you’ve got my heart. Even with the crazy cat, the honking grandpa, and my epic trip, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So yeah, that was my day. Just another adventure in Colceag. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
