Man, what a day in Corbu! Seriously, I’m still buzzing from all the craziness. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up Strada Principala for some coffee. You know, the good stuff. I’m standing there, waiting for my cappuccino, and this dude in front of me orders a “double shot, extra foam, with a sprinkle of unicorn dust.” Like, what even is that? I roll my eyes so hard, I almost see my brain. Just gimme my coffee, man! Finally, I get my drink and head to the beach. Corbu’s got this beautiful stretch of sand, right? I plop down, ready to soak up some sun. But then, outta nowhere, this seagull swoops down and tries to steal my croissant! I’m like, “Dude, back off!” I swear, these birds have no chill. I’m flailing my arms, looking like a total idiot. But hey, I saved my breakfast, so win for me! After that, I decide to stroll down to the pier. Strada Mării is buzzing with people. Families, kids, and all that jazz. I see this little kid, probably 5 or 6, trying to catch fish with a net. He’s all serious, like he’s on a mission. I can’t help but laugh. Kids are hilarious. I mean, he’s got no idea that fish are smarter than him, right? Then, I bump into an old friend. We start chatting about life, you know, the usual. He tells me about this new restaurant on Strada Dunării. Apparently, they serve the best seafood. I’m like, “Dude, I’m in!” But then he mentions it’s super pricey. Ugh, my wallet’s already crying. So, I’m feeling adventurous, right? I decide to check out the local market. It’s packed! Vendors shouting, people haggling. I love the vibe. I grab some fresh veggies and this amazing cheese. But then, I see this guy trying to sell “magic” stones. Like, really? Magic stones? I can’t even. I mean, if they were real, I’d be rich by now! By the time I leave the market, I’m feeling pretty good. But then, I hit a snag. I’m walking down Strada Litoralului, and bam! A sudden downpour. I’m talking torrential rain. I’m soaked in seconds. I’m cursing the weather gods. “Why, Corbu, why?” I’m dodging puddles like I’m in some weird obstacle course. Finally, I duck into a café to escape the rain. I order a hot chocolate, trying to warm up. The place is cozy, and I’m just chilling when this group of tourists walks in. They’re loud, taking selfies, and I’m like, “Can you not?” But then, one of them trips and spills coffee everywhere. I can’t help but laugh. Karma, baby! As the rain eases up, I decide to head back to the beach. The sunset is insane. I mean, Corbu knows how to do sunsets. The sky’s all pink and orange, and I’m just standing there, soaking it all in. It’s moments like this that make the chaos worth it. But wait, the day’s not over! I get a text from my friend about that seafood place. They’re having a special tonight. I’m like, “Why not?” I rush over, and it’s packed. I squeeze in, and the food? OMG. I’m in heaven. The fish is fresh, the flavors are popping. I’m practically dancing in my seat. As I’m leaving, I bump into that kid from earlier. He’s still trying to catch fish, but now he’s got a bucket. I tell him, “You’ll get ‘em next time, champ!” He grins, and I’m reminded of how simple joy can be. So, yeah, Corbu, you wild city. You made me laugh, you made me mad, and you made me feel alive. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
