Man, lemme tell ya about my day in Cormaia. Woke up, sun blazin’ through the window, thought it was gonna be chill. But nah, life had other plans. First off, I’m a shearer, right? So I’m used to the sheep and all that. But today? Today was a whole circus. I hit the streets of Cormaia, and lemme tell ya, those cobblestones on Strada Principală? They’re like a rollercoaster for my poor feet. I swear, I almost tripped over my own shadow. So I’m walkin’ down Strada Unirii, mindin’ my own business, when I see this dude tryin’ to parallel park. I mean, come on, bro! It’s not rocket science! He’s goin’ back and forth, back and forth. I’m just standin’ there, laughin’ my ass off. Finally, he just gives up and drives off. Classic Cormaia moment, right? Then I hit up the market on Piața Mare. Man, the smells! Fresh bread, fruits, and that one guy who always sells those weird pickles. I can’t even. But I’m hungry, so I grab a langos. You know, that fried dough thing? Best decision ever. I’m munchin’ away, and this old lady starts talkin’ to me about her cat. I’m like, “Lady, I’m just tryin’ to enjoy my food!” But she’s sweet, so I listen. After that, I head to the park near Biserica Ortodoxă. It’s a nice spot, but today? It’s packed. Kids runnin’ everywhere, and I’m just tryin’ to find a bench. Finally, I sit down, and this kid runs by and spills his ice cream all over me. I’m like, “Great, just what I needed!” Sticky and annoyed, I wipe my shirt and think about how I should’ve just stayed home. But then, outta nowhere, I see this street performer. He’s playin’ the accordion, and it’s actually kinda good. I start tappin’ my foot, and before I know it, I’m clappin’ along. Cormaia’s got talent, man! I throw a couple of lei in his hat, and he gives me a nod. Felt good, ya know? But then, the day takes a turn. I’m walkin’ back, and I see a bunch of people gathered around. Turns out, there’s a protest about some local issue. I’m like, “What now?” But I get curious, so I stick around. People are fired up, shoutin’ about the environment or somethin’. I’m not even sure what it was about, but the energy was wild. I felt a bit inspired, like maybe I should care more about stuff. Then, just when I thought it couldn’t get crazier, it starts rainin’. Like, outta nowhere! I’m sprintin’ for cover, dodgin’ puddles on Strada Libertății. I’m soaked, and my langos is ruined. Just my luck, right? Finally, I make it to a café, drenched but alive. I order a coffee, and the barista gives me a look like, “You okay, buddy?” I just laugh and say, “Just another day in Cormaia!” So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, laughter and frustration. Cormaia, you crazy city, you never fail to surprise me. I love it, even when it drives me nuts. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
