Man, what a day! I swear, Corund is wild. Like, you think you know a place, then bam! It hits you with all this craziness. So, I woke up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. First off, I hit up Strada Principală for some coffee. You know, the good stuff. I’m standing there, waiting for my cappuccino, and this dude in front of me orders, like, a 5-layered mocha-whatever. I’m just like, “Bro, it’s 8 AM, not a coffee shop in Paris!” But whatever, I’m not judging. I’m just trying to get my caffeine fix. Finally, I get my drink, and I’m outta there. I stroll down Strada Mureș, feeling all artsy and stuff. I’m an artisan, after all. But then, outta nowhere, this kid on a bike zooms past me and splashes mud all over my new shoes! I’m like, “Seriously?! These were fresh!” I mean, come on, kid! You gotta watch where you’re going! So, I’m fuming, but I try to shake it off. I head to the market at Piața Centrală. It’s buzzing, man! Vendors shouting, people haggling, and the smell of fresh produce everywhere. I love it! I grab some veggies for my latest project—making this cool wooden bowl. Gotta keep it local, you know? But then, I see this old lady trying to carry, like, 10 bags of potatoes. I’m like, “Lady, you need a hand!” So, I help her out, and she’s super grateful. She starts telling me about her life in Corund, how she remembers when the streets were all cobblestone and the town was way smaller. I’m just standing there, listening, and it hits me—this place has history. After that, I’m feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. But then, I walk past Strada Călărașilor, and there’s this guy yelling at his dog. Like, dude, chill! The dog’s just being a dog! I mean, I get it, but come on! I can’t deal with that kind of negativity. So, I decide to take a break at a little park near the river. It’s peaceful, you know? I sit on a bench, sipping my coffee, and just watch the world go by. Kids playing, couples walking hand in hand, and I’m just there, soaking it all in. But then, I see a group of teenagers playing music. They’re actually pretty good! I’m vibing, and suddenly, I’m up dancing like a fool. Then, outta nowhere, I trip over my own feet and land right in the grass. I’m laughing so hard, I can’t breathe. The teens stop playing and start cracking up too. I’m like, “Yeah, I meant to do that!” Classic me, right? As the sun starts to set, I head back home, feeling all kinds of emotions. Corund is a rollercoaster, man. One minute you’re mad about mud on your shoes, and the next, you’re dancing in a park with strangers. I get home, and I’m exhausted but happy. I sit down with my wooden bowl project, and I can’t help but smile. This city, with all its quirks and chaos, it’s my home. And even on the craziest days, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So yeah, that was my day in Corund. Just another wild ride in this beautiful mess of a town. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
