Man, what a day! I swear, if I had a dime for every crazy thing that happened in Cosești today, I’d be rich. So, I roll outta bed, right? It’s like 7 AM, and I’m already late for my first job. Typical. I grab my tools, throw on my work boots, and head out. Cosești is a small town, but it’s got its charm. The streets are narrow, like they were made for bikes, not cars. I’m cruising down Strada Principală, dodging potholes like they’re landmines. Seriously, some of these holes could swallow a small car. First stop: some dude named Ion. He’s got this old radio setup that’s been on the fritz. I get there, and he’s all like, “It’s broken! Fix it!” I’m like, “Dude, chill. I just got here.” But Ion’s not having it. He’s pacing around like a caged lion. I open up the radio, and bam! There’s a family of dust bunnies living in there. I’m talking a whole ecosystem. I’m laughing, but Ion’s not amused. He’s like, “Is it gonna work or what?” I’m thinking, “Bro, I’m not a magician.” After I finally get it working, he’s all smiles. I’m feeling like a hero, right? But then, as I’m packing up, I drop my screwdriver. It rolls right into the gutter on Strada Tineretului. Ugh! I’m like, “Great, just great.” Next, I head over to Strada Muncii. This place is buzzing! I’m installing some new speakers for a café. The owner, Maria, is super chill. She’s got this cute little dog named Max. Max is all over the place, barking at my tools like they’re intruders. I’m cracking up. While I’m working, I hear this loud music blasting from somewhere. Turns out, there’s a street festival happening! I’m like, “Why didn’t I know about this?” I finish up quick, and Maria’s like, “Go enjoy!” So, I do. I hit the streets, and man, it’s a vibe! Food stalls everywhere, people dancing, and the smell of grilled meat wafting through the air. I grab a kebab, and it’s the best thing I’ve ever tasted. I’m in heaven. But then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring. I’m talking torrential downpour. Everyone’s scrambling for cover. I’m soaked, but I’m laughing. It’s like a scene from a movie. I duck into a shop on Strada Libertății, and the owner, an old lady, hands me a towel. “You look like a drowned rat!” she says. I love her. After the rain, the sun comes out, and the streets are glistening. I’m feeling good again. I head back to my van, and guess what? I left the door open. My tools are soaked! I’m fuming. “Why, universe, why?” But then, I see a kid riding a bike down Strada Călărașilor, and he’s got this huge smile. It’s contagious. I can’t help but smile too. Kids have a way of reminding you what’s important, ya know? Finally, I wrap up my day. I’m exhausted but happy. Cosești is wild, man. It’s got its ups and downs, but it’s home. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I drive back, thinking about all the craziness. What a day!
