Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a glazier in Covasna is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m thinkin’, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit the road on Strada 1 Decembrie. Traffic was a mess. Like, come on, people! It’s not rush hour, it’s just a Tuesday! I’m sittin’ there, fuming, when I spot this cute little café on the corner. You know, the one with the blue awning? I think it’s called “Café de la Munte.” I’m like, “Screw it, I need coffee.” So I pull over, grab a cappuccino, and it’s like heaven in a cup. I’m feelin’ good again. But then, I get a call. My boss, Mr. Ionescu, is like, “Hey, we got a big job at the spa on Strada Tineretului.” I’m like, “Great, just what I need.” I mean, who doesn’t love lugging heavy glass around, right? So I chug my coffee and head over. When I get there, I see the spa. It’s this fancy place, all glass and wood. I’m thinkin’, “Wow, I’m gonna make this place shine.” But then, I notice the windows. They’re HUGE. Like, I’m talkin’ bigger than my apartment! I’m already sweating just lookin’ at ‘em. So, I start workin’, and everything’s going smooth. I’m jamming to some tunes, feeling like a rockstar. But then, outta nowhere, this pigeon decides to take a dump right on my shoulder. I’m like, “Seriously?!” I mean, come on, Covasna! Can’t a guy work in peace? I’m wiping it off, cursing under my breath, and the other guys are laughin’ their heads off. After that little incident, I’m back to it. I’m cutting glass, measuring, and all that jazz. Then, I hear this loud crash. My heart drops. I turn around, and it’s my buddy, Mihai, who just dropped a whole sheet of glass. I’m like, “Dude, you okay?” He’s fine, but the glass? Not so much. It’s shattered everywhere. I’m thinkin’, “Great, just what we need. More cleanup.” But then, something amazing happens. This little kid walks by with his mom. He sees the glass and goes, “Wow, look at the sparkles!” And I’m like, “Yeah, kid, it’s like magic!” His smile makes me forget about the mess. Kids have a way of doin’ that, ya know? Finally, after what feels like forever, we finish the job. The spa looks incredible. I’m standin’ there, admiring our work, when I get a text from my girlfriend. She’s like, “Let’s hit up the thermal baths later!” I’m pumped! Covasna’s thermal baths are the best. I can already feel the warm water relaxing my sore muscles. So, I wrap up, and we head to the baths. The water is perfect. I’m chillin’, and then I see this old guy doing some crazy stretches. I’m like, “Dude, you’re gonna pull something!” But he’s just vibin’. I love Covasna for stuff like this. It’s quirky, it’s real. As the sun sets, I’m sittin’ there, soaking it all in. I think about the day—the chaos, the laughter, the pigeon poop. It’s all part of the ride, right? Covasna, with its beautiful streets and friendly folks, makes it all worth it. So yeah, that was my day. Just another wild ride as a glazier in this crazy little town. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
