Man, what a day! I swear, Crasna really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I’m out here, right? Just another day as a car instructor, chillin’ in my little corner of the world. I start my morning on Strada Principală, grabbing a coffee from that tiny café. You know the one? The one with the weirdly good pastries? Yeah, that place. So, I’m sippin’ my coffee, feeling all zen, when my phone buzzes. It’s a text from my next student. “Hey, I’m late!” Ugh, classic. I mean, come on, it’s not like I’m just sittin’ here twiddling my thumbs. I’m on a schedule, people! Anyway, I head over to the driving school on Strada Tineretului. I’m thinkin’, “Alright, let’s do this.” My student finally shows up, and she’s all flustered. I get it, life happens. But then she hops in the car and immediately starts freaking out. “What if I crash?” she says. I’m like, “Chill, we’re just gonna drive around the block.” So, we hit the road, and she’s gripping the wheel like it’s a lifeline. We cruise down Strada Libertății, and I’m trying to keep it light. “Look, if you can handle the potholes here, you can handle anything!” But then, outta nowhere, this dog runs into the street. I’m talkin’ full-on cartoon style. I slam the brakes, and my student screams. I’m like, “Relax! It’s just a dog!” But she’s still shaking. After that, we finally get back on track. We’re driving past the park, and I’m like, “See? Look at that view!” But she’s still in panic mode. I mean, come on! It’s Crasna! The trees are beautiful, the sun is shining, and she’s worried about parallel parking. Then, we hit Strada Călărașilor, and I’m trying to teach her how to merge. It’s like teaching a cat to swim. She’s all over the place! I’m yelling, “Use your blinker! Not your panic button!” I swear, I almost lost it. Finally, we pull over, and I’m like, “Okay, deep breaths.” I’m trying to be all motivational, but inside, I’m like, “Why did I choose this job?” But then, she smiles and says, “Thanks for being patient.” And I’m like, “Aww, that’s sweet.” After the lesson, I’m starving. I swing by that little bistro on Strada Muncii. You know, the one with the best mici? I order a plate, and while I’m waiting, I overhear this couple arguing. They’re going at it, and I’m just sitting there, munching on my food, thinking, “Man, love is wild.” Then, I get a call from my boss. “We need you to cover another lesson.” I’m like, “Seriously? Right now?” But I can’t say no. So, I rush over to Strada Unirii, and guess what? It’s a teen. Great. Just what I need. This kid hops in, and he’s all swagger. “I got this.” I’m like, “Sure, buddy. Let’s see.” We start driving, and he’s blasting music. I’m trying to teach him, but he’s too busy vibing. I’m like, “Dude, focus!” But he’s in his own world. We hit the roundabout near the old church, and he nearly misses the exit. I’m screaming, “Turn! Turn!” He laughs it off. I’m losing my mind. “This isn’t a video game!” Finally, we wrap up, and I’m exhausted. I head back to my car, and I just sit there for a minute. Crasna, man. It’s beautiful, chaotic, and full of surprises. I love it, but some days, it’s just too much. As I drive home, I can’t help but smile. Sure, it was a wild ride, but that’s what makes it worth it. Crasna, you crazy place, I wouldn’t trade you for anything.
