Man, what a day! I swear, being a Cargo Transportation Manager in Deva is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. First off, I hit the road on Bulevardul 1 Decembrie. Traffic was a nightmare. I mean, come on! It’s Deva, not a Formula 1 track! I’m stuck behind this old dude in a rusty Dacia. He’s going 20 in a 50 zone. I’m like, “Bro, you got somewhere to be or just enjoying the view?” Finally, I get to the office on Strada Horea. My phone’s buzzing like crazy. Clients are freaking out. “Where’s my cargo?” “Why is it late?” I’m like, “Chill, it’s on the way!” But inside, I’m losing it. I mean, I can’t control the traffic, right? Then, I get a call from my buddy, Alex. He’s like, “Dude, you won’t believe this!” I’m thinking, “What now?” Turns out, he’s stuck at the Deva Fortress. He went there for a ‘quick hike’ and got lost. I’m laughing so hard. “You’re a grown man, Alex! How do you get lost in a fortress?” Anyway, I finally get a breather. I grab a coffee from that little place on Strada Mihai Viteazul. Best coffee in town, no joke. I’m sipping it, feeling like a king. But then, my phone buzzes again. It’s my boss. “We need to reroute the shipment to Hunedoara.” I’m like, “Great, just what I needed!” So, I’m racing around, trying to figure out the best route. I’m driving down Strada 22 Decembrie, and I see this massive truck blocking the road. I’m thinking, “Seriously? Can’t you park anywhere else?” I honk, but the driver just shrugs. I’m about to lose it. Finally, I find a way around. I’m zooming past the old city center, and it hits me. Deva is beautiful! The old buildings, the vibe, the people. I mean, yeah, it’s chaotic, but it’s home. I can’t help but smile. But then, I hit another snag. My GPS goes haywire. I’m driving in circles around the same block. I’m like, “What is this, a joke?” I pull over, take a deep breath, and just laugh. I mean, what else can you do? After what feels like forever, I finally get to the warehouse. I’m sweating, but I made it! The guys there are like, “Took you long enough!” I’m like, “Yeah, well, I had a little adventure.” As I’m loading the cargo, I see this kid playing with a soccer ball nearby. He kicks it, and it rolls right to me. I pick it up and toss it back. He grins like I just gave him a million bucks. That moment? Pure joy. The day wraps up, and I’m driving home, exhausted but happy. Deva’s got its quirks, for sure. The traffic, the unexpected calls, the lost friends. But it’s all part of the ride. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So yeah, that was my day. Just another wild ride in Deva. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
