Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Ditrau, right? The sun’s blaring through my window on Strada Principală, and I’m like, “Ugh, another day in paradise.” But little did I know, this day was gonna be a rollercoaster. First off, I hit up the local bakery on Strada Mureș. You know, the one with the best cozonac? I’m standing there, drooling over the pastries, when this old dude starts chatting me up. He’s like, “You know, back in my day…” and I’m just nodding, trying to be polite. But inside, I’m like, “Dude, I just want my sweet bread!” Finally, I grab my cozonac and bolt outta there. Next, I decide to stroll down to the park near the church. It’s a nice spot, but today? Ugh, it was packed! Kids screaming, dogs barking, and I’m just trying to find a quiet bench. I sit down, take a bite of my cozonac, and boom! A pigeon swoops down and snatches it right outta my hand! Like, are you serious, bro? I’m just sitting here, minding my own business, and you gotta be a thief? So, I’m fuming, right? I chase after the pigeon, but it’s like a scene from a cartoon. I’m running around, flailing my arms, and people are staring. I can’t even. Finally, I give up and plop back down on the bench. I’m just sitting there, contemplating life, when I see this cute dog. I mean, it’s adorable! I’m thinking, “Maybe I should get a dog.” But then I remember I can barely take care of myself. After that, I decide to hit up the market on Strada Călărași. It’s always buzzing with life. I’m browsing through the stalls, and I spot this guy selling fresh veggies. I’m like, “Yo, what’s good?” He starts telling me about his tomatoes like they’re the next big thing. I’m just trying to buy some for my salad, but he’s going on and on. I’m like, “Dude, chill. I just want to eat healthy, not hear a TED talk.” Then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring! I mean, like, torrential downpour. I’m soaked in seconds. I dash for cover under this awning, and guess who’s there? The old dude from the bakery! He’s laughing at me, and I’m just like, “Really, man? You again?” We end up chatting, and he’s actually kinda cool. Turns out he’s got some wild stories about Ditrau back in the day. Finally, the rain stops, and I’m like, “Thank you, universe!” I head back home, but not before stopping by the little café on Strada Tineretului. I grab a coffee, and it’s like a hug in a cup. I sit outside, watching the world go by. People are laughing, kids are playing, and I’m just soaking it all in. By the time I get home, I’m exhausted but happy. I think about how crazy today was. From pigeon theft to random chats with old dudes, Ditrau never fails to surprise me. I crash on my couch, thinking, “What a wild ride.” Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
