Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still buzzing from all the craziness in Dobresti. Like, where do I even start? So, I woke up late, as usual. My alarm? Yeah, it totally betrayed me. I jumped outta bed, threw on whatever I could find. You know, the classic artist look—paint stains and all. I grabbed my sketchbook and headed out. The sun was shining, but it felt like it was mocking me. First stop? Strada Principală. I needed coffee, like, yesterday. I hit up that little café, you know the one with the weird art on the walls? Yeah, that place. I ordered a cappuccino, and the barista, this dude with a wild beard, was like, “You want it with extra foam?” I was like, “Dude, I’m not a marshmallow!” But I said it with a smile, ya know? So, I’m sipping my coffee, and suddenly, BOOM! A pigeon poops right next to me. Like, come on! I’m just trying to enjoy my morning. I laughed it off, though. It’s Dobresti, man. You gotta roll with the punches. After that, I decided to stroll down Strada Tineretului. The vibe was chill, people were out and about. I saw this street performer playing the accordion. He was killing it! I mean, I don’t even like accordions, but this guy made it sound like a symphony. I tossed him a few lei. He winked at me, and I felt like a rockstar for a sec. Then, I hit up the park near the river. You know, the one with the big trees and that weird statue? I sat down on a bench, pulled out my sketchbook, and started doodling. I was feeling all artsy and stuff. But then, this kid runs by, kicks my sketchbook, and it goes flying into the river! I was like, “NOOO!” I jumped up, but it was too late. My masterpiece was now a soggy mess. Ugh! I was fuming. I mean, come on! But then, I saw this old lady feeding ducks. She looked so happy, and it kinda made me smile. I thought, “Life’s too short to be mad.” So, I took a deep breath and decided to just enjoy the moment. Next, I wandered over to Strada Florilor. There’s this little art shop there that I love. The owner, Maria, is super cool. She always has the best supplies. I walked in, and she was like, “Hey, you look like you need some color in your life!” I laughed and told her about my sketchbook disaster. She gave me a discount on some new paints. Bless her heart! Feeling a bit better, I headed to the riverbank. The sunset was insane! Like, orange and pink everywhere. I pulled out my new paints and started splashing colors on a canvas. I was in my zone, man. Then, outta nowhere, this group of kids starts a water balloon fight nearby. I’m talking full-on chaos! Balloons flying everywhere. One even hit me! I was soaked, but I couldn’t stop laughing. As the sun dipped below the horizon, I packed up my stuff. I felt so alive! Dobresti had thrown me some curveballs, but I rolled with it. I walked back through the streets, feeling grateful. I ended my day at a little bistro on Strada Mării. I ordered some sarmale and a glass of țuică. The food was bomb! I sat there, reflecting on the day. It was wild, emotional, and totally unexpected. So yeah, Dobresti, you crazy little city, you got me good today. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Here’s to more days like this!
