Man, what a day! Seriously, Dolhasca is wild. I woke up thinking it’d be chill, just me and my sketchbook. But nah, the universe had other plans. So, I’m strolling down Strada 1 Decembrie, right? Just vibin’, listening to some tunes. Suddenly, I see this old dude trying to cross the street. He’s like, “I’m gonna make it!” But bro, he’s moving slower than a snail on a lazy day. I’m like, “C’mon, man! You got this!” But then, bam! A car zooms by. I swear my heart stopped. After that mini heart attack, I hit up the local café on Strada Mihai Eminescu. Best coffee in town, no cap. I order my usual – a cappuccino with extra foam. The barista, this cool chick named Ana, she’s like, “You want a cookie with that?” I’m like, “Duh, who doesn’t?” So, I’m munching on this cookie, and it’s like heaven in my mouth. But then, outta nowhere, my phone buzzes. It’s my buddy, Vlad. He’s like, “Dude, you gotta come to the park!” I’m thinking, “What’s so special about the park?” But Vlad’s got this way of making everything sound epic. So, I grab my stuff and head to Parcul Central. When I get there, it’s packed! Kids running around, people chilling, and this one guy is playing the accordion like he’s in a movie. I’m feeling the vibe, you know? But then, I see Vlad. He’s standing there, looking all serious. I’m like, “What’s up, man?” He’s like, “I got a surprise for you.” Turns out, he organized this impromptu art show! I’m like, “What?!” I didn’t even have time to prepare! But he’s all, “Just go with it!” So, I grab my sketchbook and start drawing. People are stopping, looking, and I’m like, “Wow, this is kinda cool.” But then, this one guy, I swear, he’s got the worst taste. He looks at my art and goes, “Is that supposed to be a tree?” I’m like, “Bro, it’s abstract!” But inside, I’m fuming. Like, who even asked for your opinion? After that, I needed a breather. I walked over to Strada Călărași, where the old buildings are. They’ve got this charm, you know? I sat on a bench, just soaking it all in. The sun was setting, and it was beautiful. I thought about how lucky I am to live in Dolhasca. But then, my phone buzzes again. It’s my mom. She’s like, “Did you eat today?” I’m like, “Mom, I’m 30! I can feed myself!” But she’s relentless. So, I promise her I’ll grab dinner. I head to this little joint on Strada Tineretului. Best mici in the city! I order a plate, and while I’m waiting, I see this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting. I’m trying not to eavesdrop, but it’s hard. They’re going back and forth, and I’m just sitting there, eating my mici, thinking, “Man, love is wild.” Finally, I get my food, and it’s glorious. I take a bite, and it’s like fireworks in my mouth. I’m in my happy place. But then, I spill some sauce on my shirt. Classic me, right? I’m like, “Great, now I look like a mess.” As I’m leaving, I bump into Ana again. She’s closing up the café. We chat for a bit, and I’m like, “You should come to my next art show!” She laughs and says, “Only if you promise not to spill sauce on me.” I’m like, “Deal!” So, I head home, exhausted but happy. Dolhasca, you crazy little town, you never fail to surprise me. I can’t wait for tomorrow. Who knows what’ll happen next?
