OMG, what a day! So, I’m a babysitter, right? And today was just... wow. I mean, I thought I was ready for anything, but Dor-Marunt threw me some serious curveballs. First off, I woke up late. Like, super late. My alarm? Totally didn’t go off. I jumped outta bed, hair a mess, and ran to grab my coffee. You know that little café on Strada Principală? Yeah, I was there, half-dressed, trying to chug my coffee like it’s a life raft. The barista, Mihai, just laughed at me. Thanks, dude. So, I finally get to my gig. The kids, oh man, they’re wild! I’m talking about Alex and Raluca. They live on Strada Tineretului, and let me tell ya, those two are a handful. Raluca’s got this thing for climbing everything. I swear, she’s part monkey. I turn my back for one second, and she’s on the roof! Like, how did you even get up there?! Then, we decided to go to the park. You know, the one by the river? It’s nice, but today? Ugh. It was packed. I mean, who knew Dor-Marunt had so many kids? I felt like I was in a toddler version of a mosh pit. And of course, Alex decides he wants to play soccer. But he’s like, “I’m the goalie!” and then he just stands there, not moving. I’m yelling, “Dude, you gotta actually try!” And then, outta nowhere, this dog runs up. A big fluffy thing. I’m like, “Oh great, a dog.” But then it starts chasing Raluca. She’s screaming, I’m laughing, and the dog’s just having the time of its life. I’m trying to catch her, but I trip over a bench. Classic me, right? After the park chaos, we head back. I’m thinking, “Finally, some chill time.” But nope! Raluca decides she wants to bake cookies. I’m like, “Sure, why not?” But then I realize we’re outta flour. So, we hit the store on Strada Libertății. It’s a small place, but they have everything. I’m running around like a headless chicken, and the cashier is just staring at me. I’m like, “Yeah, I know I look crazy.” We finally get back, and I’m ready to bake. But guess what? The oven won’t start! I’m pushing buttons, yelling at it like it’s a stubborn toddler. “C’mon, work with me here!” Raluca’s giggling, and Alex is just munching on chocolate chips. I’m losing it. But then, we finally get the cookies in. And while we wait, we start a dance party in the living room. I’m busting out my best moves, and they’re just copying me. It’s hilarious! I’m thinking, “This is what life’s about.” Finally, the cookies are done. They smell amazing! We sit down, and I’m feeling all proud. But then, Alex spills juice all over the table. I’m like, “Seriously?!” But then we all just laugh. It’s messy, but it’s fun. As the day wraps up, I’m exhausted but happy. Dor-Marunt is wild, but it’s home. I love these kids, even when they drive me nuts. I’m heading home, thinking about how crazy today was. But honestly? I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So yeah, that was my day. Just another adventure in Dor-Marunt. Can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow!
