Man, what a day! I woke up in Geoagiu, and lemme tell ya, it was a rollercoaster. First off, I’m a musician, right? So, I’m all about vibes. But today? Pffft, vibes were all over the place.
So, I’m chillin’ on Strada 1 Decembrie, sippin’ my coffee, and boom! This dude walks by with a parrot on his shoulder. Like, who does that? I’m thinkin’, “Is this a movie or what?” I mean, it’s Geoagiu, not some pirate convention! 😂
Then, I head over to the park near the Geoagiu River. It’s a nice spot, but today? It was packed! Kids runnin’ around, dogs barkin’, and I’m just tryna find a quiet corner to strum my guitar. But nah, the universe had other plans. This kid starts screamin’ like he’s auditioning for a horror movie. I’m like, “Dude, chill! It’s just a squirrel!”
After that, I decide to hit up the local market on Strada Victoriei. I’m lookin’ for some fresh produce, ya know? But all I find is this old lady haggling over tomatoes. I mean, c’mon, lady! They’re just tomatoes! But she’s like, “These are the best in Geoagiu!” I’m thinkin’, “Sure, if you say so.”
Then, I bump into my buddy, Alex. He’s a DJ, and he’s all hyped about this party tonight at the old cinema on Strada Horea. I’m like, “Count me in!” But then he drops the bomb – it’s a costume party. Ugh, I hate costumes! I’m not a clown, man! But whatever, I’ll figure something out.
So, I’m walkin’ back home, and I pass by the Geoagiu Cultural Center. They’re havin’ some art exhibit. I’m not really into art, but I’m curious. I walk in, and it’s all weird sculptures and paintings. One looks like a melted ice cream cone. I’m like, “Is this art or did someone just drop their dessert?” 😂
But then, I see this girl. She’s sketching, and wow, she’s good. I’m talkin’ serious talent. I’m tryin’ to play it cool, but inside, I’m like, “Dude, go talk to her!” So, I muster up some courage and say, “Hey, nice work!” She smiles, and we start chatting. Turns out, she’s into music too! We bond over our favorite bands and laugh about the weird stuff in Geoagiu.
Fast forward to the evening. I’m at the party, dressed as a rock star (thank you, thrift store!). The vibe is lit! Music’s pumpin’, people are dancin’, and I’m feelin’ it. But then, the DJ drops a song I wrote! I’m like, “Wait, what?!” I didn’t even know he had it! I’m freakin’ out, but in a good way.
The night ends with me and the girl from earlier. We’re outside, under the stars, talkin’ about life, music, and how Geoagiu is full of surprises. I’m thinkin’, “Man, this day was wild!”
