Man, what a day! I woke up in Gugesti, and let me tell ya, it was a rollercoaster. First off, I live on Strada 1 Decembrie, which is kinda cool, but also kinda noisy. Like, who needs an alarm when you got roosters and cars honking at 6 AM? Ugh. So, I’m chugging my coffee, right? And I spill it all over my favorite shirt. Great start, huh? I’m like, “Awesome, just what I needed.” But whatever, I throw on a hoodie and head out. The sun’s shining, and I’m thinking, “Maybe today won’t suck.” Spoiler alert: it did. I hit up the market on Strada Principala. It’s packed, as usual. I love the vibe, but man, people are pushy! I’m trying to grab some fresh tomatoes, and this old lady just elbows me. Like, chill, grandma! I’m not here to fight. I finally get my tomatoes, but I’m already annoyed. Then, I decide to stroll down to the park near the Bistrita River. It’s a nice spot, but today? It’s full of kids screaming and running around. I’m like, “Can’t a guy just enjoy nature?” I sit on a bench, trying to relax, but nope. A kid runs by and knocks my bag over. My notebook goes flying! I’m like, “Dude, watch where you’re going!” But he just giggles and runs off. Kids, man. After that, I’m feeling a bit better. I walk over to the old church on Strada Catedralei. It’s beautiful, really. I love the history here. But then, I see a group of tourists taking selfies. They’re blocking the entrance! I’m standing there, waiting, and they’re just posing. I’m like, “C’mon, it’s a church, not a photo op!” Finally, I squeeze past them, muttering under my breath. Next, I decide to grab lunch at this little place called “La Mami.” Best mici in town, no joke. I order, and the waiter is super chill. He’s cracking jokes, and I’m laughing. Finally, a good moment! But then, my food takes forever. I’m starving! I’m about to lose it when he brings it out. I devour those mici like I haven’t eaten in days. Worth the wait, for sure. After lunch, I wander over to the local bookstore on Strada Libertatii. I love books, man. I’m browsing, and I find this old novel I’ve been looking for. I’m pumped! But then, I realize I left my wallet at home. Seriously? I’m about to cry. The cashier gives me this look like, “Really, dude?” I just laugh it off, but inside, I’m dying. So, I head back home, feeling defeated. But then, I see this street performer on Strada Unirii. He’s playing the accordion, and it’s actually pretty good. I stop to listen, and for a moment, everything feels right. I toss him a few coins and smile. Finally, I get home, and I’m exhausted. I flop on my bed, thinking about the day. Gugesti is wild, man. It’s got its ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I mean, where else can you spill coffee, get elbowed by a grandma, and still find joy in a street performer? Tomorrow’s a new day, right? Let’s see what Gugesti throws at me next!
