Man, what a day! I swear, Gura-Vaii really knows how to throw a curveball. I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day teaching folks how to drive. But nah, the universe had other plans. First off, I hit the road on Strada Principală, right? The sun was shining, birds were chirping, and I was like, “Today’s gonna be lit!” But then, boom! Traffic jam outta nowhere. I mean, c’mon! It’s Gura-Vaii, not Bucharest! I was stuck behind some dude in a rusty Dacia who clearly forgot how to use his turn signals. Like, bro, it’s not rocket science! Finally, I get to the driving school, and my first student, Alex, shows up late. Typical. He rolls in, all flustered, saying he got lost on Strada Căpitan Avram Iancu. I’m like, “Dude, it’s a straight road!” But whatever, we hop in the car, and I’m trying to keep it cool. So, we’re cruising down Strada Mării, and I’m explaining the basics. Suddenly, this cat runs across the road. I swear, I almost had a heart attack! Alex slams the brakes, and I’m like, “Dude, chill! It’s just a cat!” But he’s all panicky, and I’m just trying not to lose my mind. After that, we hit the roundabout near the park. You know, the one with the fountain? Yeah, that one. Alex is supposed to yield, but he just zooms right in. I’m screaming, “Yield! Yield!” and he’s like, “What’s that mean?” I mean, seriously? I can’t even! Finally, we get back to the school, and I’m sweating bullets. I’m thinking, “This kid’s gonna kill us both.” But then, he cracks a joke about the cat, and I can’t help but laugh. Like, how do you go from panic mode to stand-up comedian in 2 seconds? Next up is Maria. Sweet girl, but she’s got the attention span of a goldfish. We’re driving down Strada Călărași, and she’s like, “Ooh, look at that cute café!” I’m like, “Focus, Maria!” But she’s already daydreaming about pastries. I mean, I get it, Gura-Vaii has some bomb places to eat, but c’mon! Then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring. I’m talking torrential downpour. We’re on Strada Văii, and I can barely see the road. Maria’s freaking out, and I’m trying to keep it together. “Just drive slow, okay?” But she’s gripping the wheel like it’s a rollercoaster. After what feels like an eternity, we finally make it back. I’m drenched, and my hair looks like a wet mop. But hey, at least we survived! I tell her, “You did good, kid!” even though I’m still shaking. By the end of the day, I’m exhausted. I grab a coffee from that little spot on Strada Tineretului. You know the one? The barista knows my order by heart. I sit there, sipping my coffee, and I can’t help but smile. Gura-Vaii may be chaotic, but it’s my chaos. I head home, thinking about all the wild moments. I mean, who knew teaching driving could be this intense? But that’s Gura-Vaii for ya. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of madness. Can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow!
