Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, Havarna really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s blazin’ through my window on Strada Călărași. I’m like, “Great, another day of shearin’ sheep.” But nah, today was anything but normal. First off, I grab my coffee from that little joint on Strada Mărășești. You know the one? The barista there, she’s got this wild hair and a smile that could light up the whole city. I’m thinkin’, “Today’s gonna be good.” But then, I spill half my coffee on my shirt. Classic me, right? I’m already feelin’ like a mess. So, I head to the sheep farm, which is just outside the city. It’s a bit of a trek, but I love the fresh air. I’m cruisin’ down Bulevardul 1 Decembrie, and I see this old dude tryin’ to cross the street. He’s takin’ his sweet time, like he’s got all day. I’m like, “C’mon, man! I got sheep to shear!” But whatever, I just chill. Finally, I get to the farm. The sheep are bleatin’ like they’re auditionin’ for a choir. I’m all set to start, but then my shears decide to act up. Of course! Just my luck. I’m wrestlin’ with these things, and I’m gettin’ madder by the minute. I’m like, “Why can’t you just work?!” Then, outta nowhere, my buddy Ion shows up. He’s always got some wild story. Today, he’s talkin’ about this new place on Strada Vasile Alecsandri that serves the best mici. I’m thinkin’, “Dude, I’m tryin’ to shear sheep, not plan a feast!” But Ion’s got that energy, you know? He’s like a human Red Bull. After a few hours of shearin’, I finally get a break. I plop down on a hay bale, and Ion brings me a cold drink. We’re laughin’ and talkin’ about the craziest stuff. Like, did you know there’s a statue of Mihai Viteazul in the city? I mean, who doesn’t love a good statue? But then, outta nowhere, this storm rolls in. I’m talkin’ dark clouds, thunder, the whole shebang. I’m like, “Great, just what I need.” We scramble to get the sheep inside, and I’m soaked by the time we’re done. I’m standin’ there, drippin’ wet, and I can’t help but laugh. It’s ridiculous! Once the storm passes, the sun comes back out, and it’s like a whole new world. The colors poppin’ everywhere, and I’m feelin’ good again. I finish up the shearin’, and I’m proud of my work. I mean, I’m a shearer, and I do it well! On my way back, I decide to hit that mici place Ion was raving about. It’s on Strada Vasile Alecsandri, and let me tell ya, it did NOT disappoint. I’m sittin’ there, chowing down, and I’m thinkin’, “This is life.” The flavors are explodin’ in my mouth, and I’m just happy. But then, I see this guy at the next table. He’s got a sheep tattoo on his arm. I’m like, “Dude, really? You’re that into sheep?” We start talkin’, and it turns out he’s a shearer too! What are the odds? We swap stories, and I’m laughin’ so hard I almost choke on my mici. By the time I head home, I’m exhausted but happy. Havarna, man. It’s wild. It’s got its ups and downs, but it’s home. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings. Maybe I’ll spill my coffee again. Who knows? But I’m ready for it!
