Man, what a day! I woke up in Iasi, and I swear, it felt like the universe was throwing me curveballs left and right. First off, I hit the streets of Copou, thinking I’d grab a coffee at my fave spot, but guess what? Closed! Like, seriously? Who closes a coffee shop on a Tuesday? Ugh! So, I’m wandering down the street, and I bump into this dude selling chestnuts. I mean, it’s fall, right? Gotta love that smell! I grab a bag, and as I’m munching, I see this old lady struggling with her groceries on Strada Lascăr Catargiu. I’m like, “C’mon, I can’t just stand here!” So, I help her out. She’s super grateful, and I’m feeling like a hero for a hot sec. But then she starts telling me her life story. I’m like, “Lady, I just wanted to be a good Samaritan, not your therapist!” 😂 After that, I head over to Palas Mall. Man, that place is huge! I get lost in there. I’m just trying to find a bathroom, and I end up in some fancy store. I’m looking at these shoes that cost more than my rent. Like, who even buys this stuff? I’m just here for the food court, fam! Finally, I find the food court, and I’m ready to feast. I grab some sarmale and a beer. Life is good, right? But then, outta nowhere, this kid spills soda all over my table. I’m like, “Dude, really?!” But then his mom comes over, and she’s super apologetic. She offers me a free dessert. I’m like, “Okay, I can forgive a soda tsunami for a slice of cake!” So, I’m sitting there, enjoying my cake, when I get a text from my buddy. He’s like, “Let’s hit the bars later!” I’m down, but first, I gotta check out the Botanical Garden. It’s beautiful, man! The flowers, the trees, everything’s just vibing. I take a million pics for the ‘gram. Gotta show off, right? But then, I see this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting. I’m just trying to enjoy my peaceful moment, and they’re ruining it! I’m thinking, “Get a room, people!” But then, they start laughing. Turns out, it was just a silly fight. I’m like, “Wow, love is weird.” As the sun sets, I’m feeling all kinds of emotions. I head back to the city center, and the lights are just stunning. I walk down Strada Stefan Cel Mare, and it’s packed. Street performers, food stalls, people everywhere. I love this city! I meet up with my buddy, and we hit a bar on Strada Vasile Alecsandri. It’s packed, but we manage to snag a table. We’re laughing, sharing stories, and I’m just so happy. Iasi has this energy, you know? It’s alive! But then, outta nowhere, my phone dies. Like, seriously? I’m in the middle of a great night, and my phone decides to ghost me. I’m like, “Great, now I can’t even call a cab!” But my buddy’s got my back. He’s like, “Chill, we’ll walk.” So, we’re walking back, and I’m just thinking about how crazy today was. From chestnuts to cake, to street fights and bar vibes. Iasi, you’ve got my heart! I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings. But for now, I’m just gonna crash and hope for a less chaotic day. Or maybe more chaos? Who knows? Life’s a ride, and I’m here for it!
