Man, what a day! I swear, Intorsura-Buzaului really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I’m a dental tech, so my day usually starts with teeth. But today? Oh boy. I’m cruising down Strada 1 Decembrie, and I hit a pothole. Like, a legit crater. My coffee goes flying, and I’m left with a half-empty cup and a whole lotta rage. Seriously, who’s in charge of these roads? I mean, come on! I finally get to the lab, and it’s packed. Like, standing-room-only packed. I’m thinking, “Great, just what I need.” I’m trying to focus on making this crown for Mrs. Popescu. She’s a sweet lady, but she talks. A LOT. I’m like, “Yeah, yeah, I get it, your cat is the best.” But I’m just trying to mold this porcelain without losing my mind. Then, outta nowhere, my buddy Mihai bursts in. He’s all outta breath, looking like he just ran a marathon. Turns out, he got chased by a dog on Strada Libertății. I’m dying laughing. Like, who gets chased by a dog in Intorsura? But then he’s like, “Dude, it was a Rottweiler!” Okay, fair point. Rottweilers are no joke. So, I’m finally getting into the groove, right? And then the power goes out. Just my luck! I’m standing there, staring at my tools like they’re gonna magically fix themselves. I’m cursing under my breath, thinking about how I’m gonna explain this to Mrs. Popescu. “Sorry, your crown is delayed because the universe hates me.” After what feels like an eternity, the lights flicker back on. I’m back in business! But then, I get a call from my mom. She’s like, “You remember your cousin’s wedding, right?” Ugh, of course I do. It’s in two days, and I haven’t even bought a gift. I’m like, “Yeah, Mom, I got it.” But inside, I’m panicking. I can’t show up empty-handed! Finally, I finish up at the lab, and I’m ready to head home. But wait! I decide to take a stroll through the park on Strada Căpitan Avram Iancu. It’s beautiful, man. The trees are all green, and there’s this little pond with ducks. I’m feeling zen for a hot minute. But then, I see a kid throwing bread at the ducks. Like, chill, dude! They’re not your personal army! I’m walking back, and I bump into my old high school buddy, Andrei. We start reminiscing about the good ol’ days. You know, when life was simpler, and we didn’t have to worry about crowns and weddings. But then he drops the bomb: he’s moving to Bucharest. I’m like, “What? No way!” I mean, Intorsura is small, and losing a friend? That stings. By the time I get home, I’m exhausted. I flop on the couch, and I’m just thinking about how crazy today was. From potholes to power outages, and now my buddy’s leaving. Intorsura-Buzaului, you’ve got my heart racing, but you also know how to keep it real. So, here I am, just another day in this wild little town. I wouldn’t trade it for anything, though. Even with all the chaos, it’s home. And tomorrow? Who knows what’s in store!
