Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Medgidia, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit the streets. I’m walking down Strada 1 Decembrie, and boom! There’s this old dude selling corn on the cob. I mean, who doesn’t love that? I grab one, and it’s like heaven in my mouth. But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, knocks into me, and my corn goes flying! Like, really? I just got that! I’m standing there, cornless and mad. Then I head over to the park near Strada Călărași. It’s usually a nice spot, but today? Total chaos. There’s a bunch of kids playing football, and they’re loud as heck. I’m trying to chill on a bench, but they’re kicking the ball everywhere. One kid almost took my head off! I’m like, “Dude, watch it!” But he just laughs. Kids, man. So, I decide to escape the madness and hit up the local café on Strada Tineretului. I order a coffee, thinking I’ll get some peace. But nooo, the barista spills it all over the counter. I’m like, “Great, just great.” I mean, I love caffeine, but not like this! Finally, I sit down, and I’m scrolling through my phone. I see this post about a festival happening later. It’s in the city center, and I’m like, “Heck yeah, let’s go!” I finish my coffee, and I’m feeling a bit better. But then, as I’m walking to the festival, I get caught in this random downpour. Like, seriously? I’m soaked! I’m running down Strada Mării, dodging puddles like I’m in some kind of obstacle course. I’m laughing at myself, though. It’s ridiculous. When I finally get to the festival, it’s packed! Music blasting, people dancing, food everywhere. I’m feeling the vibe. I grab a plate of sarmale, and it’s the best thing ever. I’m stuffing my face, and this guy next to me starts chatting. Turns out, he’s from Bucharest and just visiting. We bond over how Medgidia is underrated. Like, come on, we’ve got history, culture, and the best food! But then, outta nowhere, the power goes out. Just like that. The music stops, and everyone’s like, “What now?” I’m standing there, half-eaten sarmale in hand, and I can’t help but laugh. It’s just one of those days, ya know? After a few minutes, the lights come back on, and the crowd goes wild! We’re all cheering, and I’m thinking, “This is what Medgidia is all about.” The energy is insane. As the night goes on, I meet more people, dance like nobody’s watching, and forget all the craziness from earlier. I even join a conga line! Who knew I had it in me? By the end of the night, I’m exhausted but happy. I walk home down Strada Gării, reflecting on the day. It was wild, emotional, and totally unexpected. Medgidia, you’ve got my heart. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
