Man, what a day! I swear, Nehoiu really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I’m a car instructor, right? And today was just... wow. First off, I roll into town, and it’s like, “Hey, where’s the sun?” Cloudy as heck. I park on Strada 1 Decembrie, thinking, “Great, let’s get this show on the road.” But nah, the universe had other plans. I had this newbie, Alex. Poor kid. He hops in the car, all nervous and jittery. I’m like, “Chill, dude. It’s just a car.” But then, as soon as we hit Strada Calea București, he slams the gas like he’s in a Fast & Furious movie. I’m gripping the seat, thinking, “We’re gonna die!” Then, outta nowhere, this dog runs across the street. I’m yelling, “Brake! BRAKE!” Alex panics, swerves, and we end up on the sidewalk. I’m like, “Dude, we’re not in a rally race!” The dog just looks at us like, “What’s wrong with you humans?” After that, I needed a breather. So, we pull over near the Nehoiu City Hall. I’m trying to calm down, and I see this old lady selling flowers. She’s got this huge smile, and I’m like, “Wow, she’s got it figured out.” I buy a bunch, thinking it’ll lighten the mood. Spoiler alert: it didn’t. Back in the car, Alex is still shaking. I’m trying to be all motivational, like, “You got this, man! Just breathe!” But then, he accidentally hits the horn. It’s blaring like we’re in a parade. I’m dying inside. We finally get back on Strada Muncii, and I’m praying for smooth sailing. But nope! Traffic jam. I’m stuck behind this ancient truck that’s moving slower than molasses. I’m like, “C’mon, man! We’ve got places to be!” And then, outta nowhere, this guy on a bike zooms past us. I’m talking full-on Tour de France vibes. I’m impressed, but also like, “Dude, where’s your helmet?” Safety first, right? After what feels like an eternity, we finally get to Strada Victoriei. I’m thinking, “Finally, some open road!” But then, Alex decides to take a left turn without signaling. I’m like, “Bro, what are you doing?!” He’s all, “I thought it was clear!” I’m losing my mind. I mean, how hard is it to signal? It’s like a universal language! But then, we hit this beautiful spot near the Nehoiu River. The sun peeks out, and it’s like a scene from a movie. I’m feeling all zen, and I tell Alex, “Look at that view! This is why we drive!” He finally cracks a smile. We take a break, and I’m munching on some snacks I packed. I offer him some, and he’s like, “Nah, I’m good.” I’m thinking, “Dude, you need the energy!” But whatever. After the break, we get back in the car. I’m feeling hopeful. But then, we hit a roundabout. Alex panics again. I’m like, “Just follow the signs!” But he’s all over the place. I’m screaming, “You’re gonna make us dizzy!” Finally, we make it back to the starting point. I’m exhausted, but also kinda proud. Alex didn’t crash, and that’s a win in my book. As we wrap up, I’m thinking about how wild Nehoiu is. It’s got its charm, but man, it can be a handful. I’m ready for a drink. Or ten. So yeah, that was my day. Full of chaos, laughter, and a bit of panic. Just another day in Nehoiu, I guess!
