Man, today was a wild ride in Piatra-Neamț! Like, seriously, I can’t even. Woke up, sun shining, birds chirping, thought it was gonna be chill. But nah, life had other plans. First off, I hit up Strada Cuza Vodă for some coffee. You know, the good stuff. I’m talking about that strong Romanian brew that kicks you in the face. I order my usual, and the barista, this dude with a killer mustache, spills half of it. I’m like, “Bro, what’s the deal?” He just laughs and says, “More flavor!” Ugh, whatever. I just need caffeine, man. So, I’m walking down Strada Mihai Eminescu, feeling all artsy and stuff. I see this mural on the wall, right? It’s a giant dragon, and I’m like, “Whoa, that’s epic!” But then I notice it’s got a weird smile. Like, is it happy or plotting something? I snap a pic for the ‘gram, ofc. Gotta show off my city’s art scene, right? Then, outta nowhere, it starts raining. Like, seriously? I just got my hair did! I duck into a little shop on Strada 1 Decembrie 1918. It’s this cute place selling handmade crafts. I’m browsing, and this lady starts chatting me up about her pottery. She’s super passionate, and I’m like, “Wow, lady, chill.” But I can’t help but admire her enthusiasm. After the rain, I decide to hit the Central Park. It’s beautiful, man. Trees everywhere, people chilling, kids running around. I sit on a bench, trying to sketch. But then, this kid runs by, trips, and spills ice cream all over my sketchbook! I’m like, “Dude, really?” But then I see his face, all sad and stuff, and I can’t stay mad. I just laugh it off. Kids, man. Next, I wander over to the Tineretului Park. It’s a vibe. I see a group of teens playing music, and they’re actually good! I’m vibing, feeling the rhythm. I even join in with my air guitar. Yeah, I know, I’m a dork. But who cares? Life’s too short to be serious all the time. Then, I decide to grab some food. I hit up this little joint on Strada Petru Rareș. They’ve got the best mici in town. I order a plate, and while I’m waiting, I overhear this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting. I’m just trying to enjoy my food, and they’re ruining the vibe. But then, the guy pulls out a ring and proposes! I’m like, “What?!” The girl starts crying, and I’m just sitting there, mouth full of mici, trying not to choke. After that, I’m feeling all kinds of emotions. Happy, surprised, a bit angry at the couple for the drama. I decide to take a stroll by the Bistrița River. The sunset is gorgeous, painting the sky in pinks and oranges. I pull out my sketchbook again, trying to capture the moment. But my pencil breaks. Of course! Just my luck, right? I sit there, staring at the river, thinking about life. Piatra-Neamț is such a mix of chaos and beauty. One minute you’re sipping coffee, the next you’re dodging ice cream and witnessing proposals. It’s like a rollercoaster, and I’m here for it. As I head back home, I can’t help but smile. Today was intense, emotional, and totally unexpected. Just another day in Piatra-Neamț, I guess. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
