Man, what a day! Seriously, Piscu (ro) is wild. I woke up thinking it’d be chill. Nope! Not even close. First off, I hit the streets of Strada Principală. It’s like the main vein of the city, ya know? I’m strolling, coffee in hand, feeling all philosophical. Then BAM! A pigeon poops on my shoulder. Like, really? Thanks, bird. Just what I needed. So, I’m walking down Strada Călărași, trying to shake it off. I see this cute little café, Café de la Stradă. I’m like, “Okay, let’s grab a pastry.” I order a cozonac, and it’s heavenly. Fluffy, sweet, just perfect. But then, the barista spills coffee all over the counter. I’m like, “Dude, you okay?” He just laughs it off. I mean, at least he’s got a sense of humor, right? Next, I decide to hit up the local market on Strada Măgurii. It’s buzzing! Fresh fruits, veggies, people haggling. I love it! I grab some tomatoes, and this old lady starts chatting me up. She’s telling me about her garden. I’m nodding, but honestly, I’m just thinking about how I can’t keep a plant alive. I mean, I can barely keep my life together! Then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, kicks a soccer ball, and it hits me right in the leg. Ouch! I’m like, “Hey, watch it!” But he just giggles and runs off. Kids, man. They’re fearless. I wish I could be like that. After that, I’m feeling a bit adventurous. I head to the park near Strada Tineretului. It’s beautiful! Trees everywhere, people chilling. I sit on a bench, just soaking it all in. But then, this group of teenagers starts blasting music. Like, come on! I’m trying to enjoy nature here! But I can’t help but laugh. They’re dancing like nobody’s watching. Suddenly, I get a text from my buddy. He’s like, “Let’s meet at the fountain on Strada Libertății.” I’m thinking, “Great, more chaos!” But I’m in. I hustle over there, and it’s packed. People taking selfies, kids splashing water. It’s a scene! I finally spot my friend. He’s got this ridiculous hat on. I’m like, “Dude, what’s with the hat?” He just grins. “Fashion statement!” I roll my eyes. We grab some street food. I get a mici, and it’s so good! Juicy, spicy, just what I needed. But then, out of nowhere, it starts to rain. Like, really? I’m drenched in seconds. We dash for cover under a nearby awning. I’m laughing, but also kinda annoyed. “Piscu, you’re killing me!” I shout. My friend just shrugs. “Welcome to life, man.” As the rain slows, we decide to wander around. We end up on Strada Vasile Alecsandri. It’s quieter here, and I can finally breathe. I see this old building, all crumbling but beautiful. I’m snapping pics, feeling all artsy. Then, I spot a street artist painting. His work is incredible! I’m mesmerized. I start chatting with him, and he tells me about his life in Piscu. It’s inspiring. I mean, here I am, just a psychological professionologist, and this guy is living his dream. Makes me think about my own path. Finally, the day winds down. I’m exhausted but happy. I’ve seen so much, felt so much. Piscu is a rollercoaster, man. I love it! I can’t wait to come back. So yeah, that was my day. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. Just another day in Piscu!
