Man, what a day! Seriously, Pitesti, you wild! I woke up thinking it’d be chill, just another day in the city. But nah, the universe had other plans. First off, I hit up the local bakery on Strada Negru Vodă. Best croissants ever! But guess what? They were out. Like, how do you run out of croissants in the morning? I was ready to throw a fit. I mean, c’mon! It’s not rocket science! So, I settled for a dry bun. Ugh. Then, I decided to stroll down Strada Republicii. It’s always buzzing, right? But today? It was like a scene from a zombie movie. People just staring at their phones, bumping into each other. I almost yelled, “Wake up, folks!” But I didn’t. I just laughed. Outta nowhere, I bumped into my buddy, Alex. He’s always got some crazy story. Turns out, he got chased by a dog near the park. Like, who gets chased by a dog? He was all dramatic, saying it was a “life or death” situation. I couldn’t stop laughing. We hit up the park, Parcul Trivale. Beautiful place, but man, it was packed. Kids screaming, dogs running everywhere. I swear, I saw a kid throw a tantrum over a toy. Classic! I was like, “Dude, you’re in Pitesti, not a toy store!” Then, the weather decided to join the party. Outta nowhere, it started pouring. I mean, seriously? One minute, sunny vibes, next minute, I’m soaked. I ducked into a café on Strada 1 Decembrie. Got a hot chocolate, which was bomb, but the service? Slow as molasses. I was ready to give them a piece of my mind. While waiting, I overheard some locals chatting about the old days. They were reminiscing about the old cinema on Strada Mihai Viteazul. Apparently, it used to be the place to be. I felt a wave of nostalgia. I mean, I wasn’t even alive back then, but still! After the rain, I decided to check out the city center. The fountains were lit up, and it looked magical. I snapped a pic, thinking, “This is Instagram gold!” But then, my phone died. Like, really? Right when I was about to post? I was fuming. I wandered around, trying to find a charger. Ended up at a random shop on Strada Calea București. The guy behind the counter was super chill. He let me charge my phone while we chatted about the best places to eat in Pitesti. He recommended some hidden gem, and I’m like, “Dude, I’m so there!” Finally, I headed home, exhausted but buzzing from the day. Pitesti, you’re a rollercoaster! From croissant drama to dog chases, and a rainstorm that soaked me to the bone. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So, yeah, that was my day. Just another wild ride in Pitesti. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
