Man, what a day! Seriously, Plopeni is wild. I mean, I thought I was just gonna chill, teach some classes, maybe grab a coffee. Nope! Not in this city. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping. I’m like, “Today’s gonna be great!” I stroll down Strada 1 Decembrie. It’s a nice street, kinda quaint. But then, bam! I trip over a pothole. Like, come on, Plopeni! Fix your roads! I’m not trying to break my ankle before my lecture. Anyway, I finally make it to the university. The vibe is buzzing. Students everywhere, chatting, laughing. I love that energy. But then, I find out my lecture hall got switched last minute. I’m like, “Seriously?!” Now I gotta sprint to Strada Mihai Viteazul. I’m sweating like a pig. I get there, and guess what? The projector’s broken. Ugh! I’m fuming. I mean, how hard is it to check this stuff? I’m about to lose it. But then, I see these students. They’re all looking at me, eager and ready to learn. It kinda melts my anger away. So, I start my lecture. I’m talking about the history of Plopeni, how it was founded in the 1800s, and how it’s grown. The students are engaged, asking questions. I’m feeling good again. But then, outta nowhere, this guy sneezes. Like, a huge, loud sneeze. Everyone jumps. I can’t help but laugh. It’s like a scene from a movie. After class, I decide to grab lunch. I hit up this little place on Strada Libertății. The food is bomb! I order sarmale, and it’s like a flavor explosion in my mouth. I’m in heaven. But then, I spill some on my shirt. Great. Just great. Now I look like a mess. I’m walking back, trying to clean up, when I bump into an old lady. She’s super sweet, and she starts telling me about her life in Plopeni. She’s lived here forever, knows all the gossip. I’m just nodding, trying to keep up. She mentions the old church on Strada Călugăreni. I’ve seen it, but hearing her stories makes it come alive. Then, I get a text. My next meeting got canceled. I’m like, “Yes!” So, I decide to explore a bit. I wander down to the park near the city center. It’s beautiful, with trees and flowers everywhere. I sit on a bench, just soaking it all in. But then, out of nowhere, it starts to rain. Like, really rain. I’m scrambling for cover, laughing at the absurdity of it all. I duck into a café on Strada Tineretului. I order a coffee, and the barista is super chill. We start chatting about life in Plopeni. He tells me about the local festivals, and I’m like, “I need to come back for that!” Finally, I head back to my place, exhausted but happy. I think about how crazy today was. From tripping over potholes to meeting that sweet old lady, it was a rollercoaster. Plopeni, you’ve got my heart. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
