Man, what a day! I swear, being a Cargo Transportation Manager in Predeal is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit the road on Strada Timișoarei, thinking I’m all set. But nooo, traffic’s a nightmare. Like, who knew a bunch of tourists could cause a jam? I mean, c’mon, it’s Predeal, not New York! I’m stuck behind this old dude in a Lada, going 20 km/h. I’m like, “Bro, it’s not a Sunday drive!” Finally, I get to the office, and my phone’s blowing up. My boss is like, “We need those goods delivered ASAP!” I’m thinking, “Dude, chill. It’s not like I can teleport.” But whatever, I grab my coffee and hit the road again. Next stop: Strada Valea Rasnoavei. Beautiful views, right? But guess what? My GPS decides to play hide and seek. I’m driving around like a lost puppy. I swear, I could’ve walked faster. I finally find the place, and it’s a total mess. Boxes everywhere, and I’m just standing there, mouth agape. Then, outta nowhere, a kid on a bike zooms past me. I’m like, “Is this a race or what?” He’s laughing, and I’m just trying to figure out how to move these boxes. I mean, I love kids, but c’mon, I’m not in the mood for a bike race! After that chaos, I head to Strada Muncii. You’d think it’d be smooth sailing, right? Wrong! The delivery truck breaks down. I’m standing there, fuming. I call the mechanic, and he’s like, “I’ll be there in an hour.” An hour?! I could’ve walked to the moon in that time! While I’m waiting, I decide to grab a bite at this little place called “La Căsuța cu Flori.” Best mici ever! Seriously, I’m stuffing my face, and suddenly, I’m happy again. Food fixes everything, am I right? But then, I get a call. It’s my boss again. “Where’s the delivery?” I’m like, “Dude, I’m working on it!” I mean, can’t a guy eat in peace? Finally, the mechanic shows up, and he’s this young dude, probably just outta school. He’s all, “What’s the problem?” I’m like, “If I knew, I wouldn’t be here!” But he fixes it, and I’m back on the road. I zoom past the Predeal ski slopes, and I can’t help but smile. Snow’s still there, and people are having a blast. I wish I could just ditch work and hit the slopes. But nope, duty calls. I finally make the delivery at Strada Paltinului. The client’s super chill, and I’m like, “Finally, some good vibes!” We chat about the weather, and he mentions how beautiful Predeal is in the summer. I’m like, “Yeah, but have you seen it in winter? It’s like a postcard!” After that, I’m feeling good. I head back, and the sun’s setting. The sky’s all orange and pink, and I’m just soaking it in. Predeal’s got this magic, you know? But then, I hit traffic AGAIN. I’m like, “Seriously?!” I’m stuck behind a bus full of tourists. They’re singing some Romanian folk song, and I’m just sitting there, rolling my eyes. Finally, I get home, and I’m exhausted. But you know what? I wouldn’t trade this job for anything. Predeal’s got its quirks, but it’s my quirks too. And that’s what makes it all worth it. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but hey, that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
