Man, what a day! I swear, Prejmer really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I’m just chillin’ in my combine harvester, right? You know, the big ol’ machine that eats up fields like a hungry hippo. I’m parked on Strada Principala, just minding my own business, when BAM! A flock of pigeons decides to have a party on my hood. Like, seriously? Who invited these guys? Anyway, I’m tryin’ to shoo them away, but they’re like, “Nah, we’re good.” I’m thinkin’, “Great, now I’m a pigeon hotel.” But whatever, I got work to do. So I fire up the engine, and the roar is like music to my ears. I’m ready to hit the fields, but first, I gotta navigate through the streets. Prejmer’s got some tight spots, man. I’m cruisin’ down Strada Scolii, and I swear, if I hit one more pothole, I’m gonna lose it. I mean, come on! It’s like driving a tank through a minefield. And don’t even get me started on the roundabout at the end of the street. It’s like a game of chicken with the other drivers. I’m just a dude in a combine, and they’re all like, “Who’s this guy?” Finally, I make it to the fields. Thank goodness! The sun’s shining, and the wheat is lookin’ ripe. I’m feelin’ good, ready to harvest. But then, outta nowhere, a kid on a bike zooms past me. I’m like, “Dude, watch where you’re going!” He just laughs and pedals faster. Kids these days, right? So I’m in the zone, cutting through the wheat like a boss. But then, I see this old lady on Strada Muncii, waving her arms like she’s conducting an orchestra. I stop, thinking she needs help. Turns out, she just wanted to tell me how great my machine looks. I’m like, “Thanks, lady! But I’m just here to do my job.” She smiles and says, “You’re a hero!” A hero? Me? Nah, just a guy with a big machine. Then, outta nowhere, it starts to rain. Like, seriously? I’m in the middle of a field, and the sky decides to open up. I’m drenched, my combine’s getting muddy, and I’m just standing there, laughing like a maniac. “This is how I wanted my day to go!” I shout to no one. But then, the rain stops, and a rainbow pops up. I’m not even kidding! It’s like a scene from a movie. I’m standing there, muddy and soaked, but I can’t help but smile. Prejmer, you sneaky little town, you know how to surprise a guy. After the rain, the fields look magical. I’m back to work, and the sun’s shining again. I’m feeling pumped, like I could take on the world. But then, I hit a rock. Ugh! My combine makes this awful noise, and I’m like, “No, no, no! Not today!” I hop out, check the damage, and it’s not too bad. Just a little dent. I can live with that. As the day winds down, I’m driving back through Prejmer, and I can’t help but think about how wild today was. From pigeons to rainbows, this town’s got character. I pass by the church on Strada Bisericii, and it hits me—this place is home. So yeah, that was my day. A mix of chaos, laughter, and a bit of mud. Prejmer, you’re a trip, but I wouldn’t trade you for anything. Just gotta watch out for those pigeons next time!
