Man, lemme tell ya about my day in Puchenii-Mari. Woke up, sun blazin’ through the window. I’m an abrasive blaster, right? So, I’m used to grit and grime. But today? Today was somethin’ else. First off, I hit the road on Strada Principală. Traffic was a mess. Like, come on! It’s a small town, how’s it this packed? I swear, I saw a guy on a bike, dodging cars like he was in some kinda video game. I laughed, but also thought, “Dude, you’re crazy!” Finally made it to the site. The job? Blastin’ some old concrete off a wall on Strada Muncii. Easy peasy, right? Nah, man. The compressor decided to throw a fit. It was like, “Nah, I’m not workin’ today.” I was fumin’. I mean, c’mon! I just wanna do my job! While I’m tryin’ to fix it, this old lady walks by. She’s got a basket full of what I think are plums. She stops, looks at me, and says, “You know, young man, you should try gardening instead.” I almost dropped my tools. Like, lady, I’m not here to plant flowers! I’m here to blast stuff! But I just smiled and nodded. After finally gettin’ the compressor to work, I’m back at it. The noise is insane. I’m in my zone, feelin’ like a rockstar. But then, outta nowhere, a pigeon decides to dive-bomb me. I swear it was aiming for my head! I ducked, and the thing just flew off. I laughed so hard, I almost dropped my blaster. Then, around noon, I took a break. Grabbed a bite at that little place on Strada Tineretului. You know the one? They make the best mici! I’m sittin’ there, chowing down, when I overhear this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting. I’m thinkin’, “Dude, you’re in public!” But it was kinda funny. The guy was tryin’ to defend himself, and the girl was just not havin’ it. After lunch, I head back to work. The sun’s beatin’ down, and I’m sweatin’ like crazy. But I’m pumped. I love this job. It’s messy, but it’s real. Then, I get a call from my buddy, Alex. He’s like, “Yo, you gotta check out the new park on Strada Florilor!” I’m like, “Dude, I’m workin’!” But he’s persistent. Finally, I wrap up the job. I’m covered in dust, but I don’t care. I head over to the park. It’s beautiful! Flowers everywhere, kids playin’, people chillin’. I see Alex, and he’s got this huge grin. We grab a couple of beers from a nearby stand. As the sun sets, I’m sittin’ there, laughin’ with my buddy. I think about how crazy today was. From the traffic to the pigeon, to the couple fightin’—it was a rollercoaster. Puchenii-Mari, man. It’s wild. I head home, tired but happy. I love this place. It’s got its quirks, but so do I. And that’s what makes it home.
