OMG, what a day! So, I’m a Personal Shopping Assistant, right? And today was just... wow. I mean, Roznov (ro) is usually chill, but today? Total chaos. First off, I woke up late. Like, super late. My alarm? Totally ignored it. So, I’m rushing outta my apartment on Masarykova street, hair a mess, coffee in hand. I spill it. Of course. Classic me. I’m like, “Great start, right?” I hop on the bus, and it’s packed. I’m squished between this dude who smells like old cheese and a lady with a million shopping bags. I’m thinking, “Why do I do this job?” But then I remember, I love helping people find their style. It’s like a treasure hunt, but with clothes. Finally, I get to the main square, Náměstí 1. máje. It’s buzzing! I love the vibe here. Street performers, cute cafes, and all the shops. But today? Ugh. I had a client who wanted a dress for a wedding. No biggie, right? Wrong! We hit up this boutique on Hranická street. Super cute stuff. But my client? She’s like, “I don’t like anything.” I’m like, “Girl, we just got here!” But she’s all picky. I’m sweating bullets. Then, outta nowhere, this guy walks in. He’s wearing the most ridiculous outfit. I mean, who wears neon green pants? I can’t help but laugh. My client notices and suddenly, she’s in a better mood. Thank you, neon pants guy! We finally find a dress. It’s stunning! But then, she tries it on and it’s too tight. I’m like, “Noooo!” I can’t let her leave unhappy. So, I’m like, “Let’s try a bigger size.” We run back to the rack, and guess what? It’s gone! I’m freaking out. I’m pacing around, thinking, “What now?” Then I spot it! It’s on a mannequin. I’m like, “Excuse me, can I borrow that?” The sales lady looks at me like I’m nuts. But I’m desperate! I’m like, “C’mon, it’s for a wedding!” Finally, I get the dress. My client loves it! I’m so relieved. We head to a café on Smetanova street to celebrate. I order a slice of trdelník. It’s heavenly! But then, I drop it. Seriously, what’s with me today? After that, I have another client. This one’s a dude. He wants shoes. Easy peasy, right? We hit up a store on Záhumení street. But he’s super picky too! I’m like, “Dude, just pick one!” But he’s all, “I need the perfect pair.” We’re there for ages. I’m losing my mind. Finally, he finds a pair. I’m like, “Finally!” But then, he decides he wants to check another store. I’m like, “Are you kidding me?” We walk to another shop, and guess what? They don’t have his size. I’m about to lose it. But then, I see a cute dog outside. I’m like, “Look! A dog!” It totally distracts him. Thank you, pup! By the end of the day, I’m exhausted. I’ve run all over Roznov (ro), from the main square to the outskirts. I’m sweaty, my feet hurt, and I’m ready to crash. But you know what? I love this city. It’s quirky, it’s fun, and it’s full of surprises. So, I grab a beer at a local pub on Palackého street. I sit back, take a sip, and think, “What a day.” I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Roznov (ro), you crazy, beautiful place, you’ve got my heart!
