Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a potter in Sabaoani is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. First off, I hit the market on Strada Principală. You know, the one with all the vendors? I’m just tryna grab some clay, and boom! There’s this dude selling these weird ceramic frogs. Like, who buys that? But hey, to each their own, right? I’m just there, minding my business, when I hear this loud crash. I turn around, and some kid just knocked over a whole stand of pots. My pots! I’m like, “Dude, what the heck?!” But then, I see the kid’s face. He’s all wide-eyed and scared. I can’t be mad at him. I mean, I was a kid once too, right? So, I just laugh it off. “Hey, buddy, it’s all good. Just don’t do it again, okay?” He nods like a bobblehead, and I’m like, “Phew, crisis averted.” After that, I head over to Strada Călărași. There’s this old lady selling flowers. She’s got the best sunflowers, man. I buy a bunch, and she gives me this huge smile. I swear, it’s like she just made my day. I’m walking away, feeling all warm and fuzzy inside, when I trip over my own feet. Classic me, right? I’m sprawled out on the sidewalk, sunflowers everywhere. People are staring. I’m like, “Yeah, just a potter taking a tumble. No biggie!” Then, I get to my workshop. It’s a cozy little spot, you know? Right by the river, with the sound of water flowing. I start working on this new vase. It’s gonna be epic. But then, my phone buzzes. It’s my buddy, Mihai. He’s like, “Yo, let’s hit up the pub later!” I’m like, “Sure, but I gotta finish this vase first.” So, I’m in the zone, right? Just me and the clay. But then, I hear this loud honking outside. I peek out, and it’s a bunch of kids on bikes, racing down Strada Tineretului. I can’t help but laugh. They’re all over the place, like a bunch of bees. I’m thinking, “Man, I wish I had that energy.” Finally, I finish the vase. It’s beautiful! I’m so proud. I take a pic and send it to Mihai. He replies with a bunch of fire emojis. I’m like, “Yeah, I’m the king of clay!” Later, I hit the pub on Strada Libertății. It’s packed! Everyone’s laughing, drinking, and I’m just soaking it all in. Mihai shows up, and we order some beers. We’re chatting about life, and I’m telling him about the kid who broke my pots. He’s cracking up. “Only you, man!” But then, outta nowhere, this guy starts a fight. Like, seriously? In the pub? I’m just trying to enjoy my beer! The bouncer kicks him out, and the whole place goes silent for a sec. I’m like, “What a buzzkill!” After that, the vibe shifts back to fun. We’re laughing, telling stories, and I’m feeling grateful for my crazy day. Sabaoani is wild, man. It’s got its quirks, but that’s what makes it home. As I head back, I can’t help but think about all the ups and downs. From the kid breaking my pots to the old lady’s smile, it’s all part of the ride. I love this place, even when it drives me nuts. So yeah, that was my day. Just another rollercoaster in Sabaoani. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
