Man, what a day! I swear, Sagna really knows how to throw a curveball. Woke up late, as usual. Alarm? Nah, that thing’s just a suggestion, right? So, I’m rushin’ outta my apartment on Strada 1 Decembrie, trippin’ over my own feet. Classic me. First stop, the shop. You know, the one on Strada Mihai Viteazul? Yeah, that place. I get there, and my buddy Ion’s already knee-deep in an engine. He’s got grease all over his face, lookin’ like a raccoon. I laugh, but then I see the pile of cars waiting for us. Ugh, great. Just what I needed. So, I dive into this old Dacia. Man, it’s a rust bucket. I’m talkin’ about more rust than metal. I’m tryin’ to fix the brakes, but they’re like, “Nah, we’re not workin’ today.” I’m like, “C’mon, don’t be a drama queen!” But no, they just won’t budge. Then, outta nowhere, this lady storms in. She’s all frantic, like she just saw a ghost or somethin’. Turns out, her car broke down on Strada Calea București. I mean, who even drives there? It’s a mess! But I can’t say no. So, I grab my tools and head out. On the way, I pass by the park near Strada Tineretului. It’s packed! Kids are runnin’ around, people chillin’ on benches. I’m thinkin’, “Man, I wish I could just sit and relax.” But nope, duty calls. Finally, I get to her car. It’s a total wreck. I’m talkin’ about a flat tire, dead battery, and who knows what else. I’m like, “Lady, did you drive this thing through a war zone?” She just laughs, but I can see she’s stressed. I start workin’ on it, and guess what? It starts rainin’. Of course! Just my luck. I’m soaked, but I keep goin’. I’m like a wet dog, but I’m determined. After a struggle, I finally get the tire changed. She’s so grateful, it’s like I just saved her life or somethin’. I’m feelin’ like a hero, but really, I just changed a tire. On my way back, I stop by the bakery on Strada Libertății. Best pastries in Sagna, no doubt. I grab a couple of those sweet things. I mean, I earned it, right? But then, I see this guy I know, always complainin’ about his car. He’s like, “Hey, can you check mine?” I’m like, “Dude, I just saved a lady’s life!” But I can’t say no. So, I head back to the shop, and it’s chaos. Ion’s still workin’ on that engine, and now I’ve got this guy’s car to deal with. I’m like, “Why do I do this to myself?” But then, I remember why I love it. The thrill, the challenge. By the end of the day, I’m exhausted. I’m sittin’ on the steps of the shop, lookin’ at the sunset over Sagna. The sky’s all orange and pink, and for a moment, everything feels right. I think about the people I helped today, the laughs, the chaos. Yeah, Sagna’s a wild place. But it’s home. And even on the craziest days, I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
