Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a Watchman in Sascut is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s barely up, and I’m already feelin’ the vibes of the city. Sascut, with its narrow streets like Strada Principală, is buzzing. I grab my coffee from that little joint on Strada 1 Decembrie. Best brew in town, no cap. First thing, I’m out on the beat. The air’s crisp, and I’m thinkin’, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. I’m strollin’ down Strada Călărași, just mindin’ my own business, when I hear this loud crash. I whip around, and boom! A dude on a bike just wiped out. Like, dude, you okay? He’s sprawled out, and I’m half-laughing, half-concerned. He gets up, brushes off, and yells, “I’m fine! Just testing gravity!” Classic Sascut humor, I guess. Then, I hit up the park near the old church. You know, the one on Bulevardul Republicii? It’s usually peaceful, but today? Nah. There’s a bunch of kids playing football, and they’re loud as hell. I’m tryin’ to enjoy my break, but they’re kickin’ the ball everywhere. One kid nails me right in the leg. I’m like, “Yo, watch it!” But they just laugh. Kids, man. They don’t care. After that, I decide to check out the market on Strada Mărășești. It’s packed! Vendors shoutin’ about fresh veggies and homemade cheese. I’m eyeing this cheese, right? Looks amazing. But then, this old lady cuts in front of me. I’m like, “Excuse me?” She just gives me this look like I’m the one in the wrong. I mean, come on! I’m just tryna get some good food here! Finally, I get my cheese and head back. But wait! I see this stray dog. He’s chillin’ by the fountain on Strada Tineretului. I can’t resist. I sit down next to him, and we just vibe. I swear, he’s got the best energy. I’m petting him, and he’s wagging his tail like he’s the king of Sascut. I’m thinkin’, “Man, I wish I could be a dog sometimes.” No worries, just chillin’ in the sun. But then, outta nowhere, I hear sirens. My heart drops. I jump up, and it’s chaos. A car’s flipped over near the intersection of Strada 1 Mai and Bulevardul Republicii. People are crowding, phones out, recording. I rush over, doin’ my Watchman thing. I’m tryin’ to keep the crowd back, but they’re all like, “What happened?” I don’t even know! I’m just here, trying to keep things cool. Finally, the paramedics show up. They’re pros, man. They take over, and I’m just standing there, feelin’ useless. But then, I see a kid in the crowd. He’s scared, and I can see it in his eyes. So, I kneel down and say, “Hey, it’s gonna be okay. They’re here to help.” He nods, and I feel a bit better. Sometimes, it’s the little things, ya know? After all that drama, I head back to my post. I’m exhausted but kinda pumped. Sascut is wild, man. It’s got this energy that just pulls you in. I sit down on a bench, munchin’ on my cheese, and watch the sunset over the rooftops. The sky’s all orange and pink, and I’m thinkin’, “Yeah, this is life.” So, that was my day. Full of chaos, laughter, and a bit of heart. Sascut, you crazy city, you never fail to surprise me. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
