OMG, what a day! So, I’m a babysitter, right? And today was just... wow. I mean, Secusigiu, man! This little town is like a hidden gem, but today? It was a rollercoaster. First off, I get to the house on Strada Principală, and the kids are already bouncing off the walls. Like, chill, kiddos! I’m just trying to get my coffee fix from the cute café on Strada Mureș. But nooo, they’re like, “Let’s play hide and seek!” Ugh, fine. I’m in. So, we’re running around the yard, and I’m hiding behind this old tree. It’s like, ancient or something. I swear it’s seen more drama than a soap opera. Anyway, I’m crouched there, and suddenly, I hear this loud crash. I’m like, “What now?” Turns out, one of the kids knocked over a flower pot. Great. Just great. I’m trying to keep my cool, but inside, I’m like, “Are you kidding me?” I mean, those flowers were probably older than me! So, I’m cleaning up the mess, and the kids are giggling. I can’t even. Then, we decide to go for a walk. I’m thinking, “Let’s hit up the park on Strada Călărași.” It’s a nice spot, you know? But as we’re walking, I see this stray dog. And I’m a sucker for animals, so I’m like, “Aww, look at that pup!” But the kids? They’re like, “Can we take him home?” I’m like, “Uh, no. We can’t just take a dog.” But they keep begging. So, I’m trying to reason with them, and then, outta nowhere, the dog starts chasing us! I’m sprinting down the street, and the kids are laughing like maniacs. I’m thinking, “This is how I die.” Finally, we make it to the park, and I’m outta breath. The kids are still hyped, and I’m just trying to catch my breath. We play on the swings, and I’m feeling all nostalgic. Like, I used to swing for hours when I was a kid. But then, one of the kids decides to jump off mid-swing. I’m like, “Dude, what are you doing?” He lands on the grass, rolls, and pops up like nothing happened. I’m just standing there, mouth agape. Kids are wild, man. After that, we head to the little ice cream shop on Strada Tineretului. I’m thinking, “Finally, some peace.” But nope! The line is out the door. I’m like, “Seriously? It’s just ice cream!” But the kids are all, “We want it now!” So, I’m waiting, and waiting, and I finally get to the front. I order three scoops of chocolate, and the guy behind the counter is like, “Sorry, we’re out.” I’m like, “What do you mean, out?!” I’m about to lose it. But then, I see this cute little girl with a giant cone, and I’m like, “Okay, maybe it’s not so bad.” I end up getting strawberry instead, and honestly? It’s bomb. We sit on a bench, and I’m just watching the world go by. Secusigiu is so chill. The old buildings, the cobblestone streets, it’s like a postcard. But then, I see this guy on a bike, and he totally wipes out. I can’t help but laugh. I mean, come on! After ice cream, we head back home. The kids are tired, and I’m like, “Finally, some peace.” But then, they start arguing over who gets to pick the movie. I’m like, “Guys, chill! It’s just a movie!” In the end, we settle on some animated flick, and I’m half-watching, half-dozing off. But then, the kids start reenacting scenes, and I’m cracking up. They’re so dramatic! Finally, their parents come home, and I’m like, “Thank goodness!” I’m exhausted. But honestly? I wouldn’t trade this day for anything. Secusigiu, with all its quirks and surprises, is just... special. So yeah, that was my day. Full of chaos, laughter, and a bit of drama. Can’t wait to do it all over again!
