Man, what a day! I swear, Simeria really knows how to throw a curveball. Woke up this morning, sun shining, birds chirping, thought it was gonna be chill. But nah, life had other plans. First off, I hit up Strada 1 Decembrie. You know, the one with all the cute cafes? I was craving a coffee, like, NEEDING it. So I stroll in, order my usual – a cappuccino, extra foam, please! But the barista? Total space cadet. She hands me a black coffee. Like, what even?! I’m like, “Yo, did I ask for tar?” Anyway, I take my black sludge and head out. I’m walking down Strada Mihai Viteazul, and suddenly, BAM! A pigeon poops on my shoulder. Seriously?! I’m just trying to enjoy my day, and this feathered menace decides I’m its target. I’m standing there, flabbergasted, like, “Is this a sign? Am I cursed?” But then, I see this street performer on Strada Libertății. He’s playing the accordion, and honestly, he’s killing it! I mean, I’m not usually into that stuff, but he had some serious skills. I toss him a couple of lei, feeling all generous and stuff. It’s like, “Hey, at least SOMEBODY is having a good day!” So I keep walking, trying to shake off the pigeon drama. I hit up the park near the Simeria City Hall. It’s a nice spot, you know? Trees everywhere, kids playing, people chilling. I plop down on a bench, just soaking it all in. But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, and his ball hits me right in the leg. Ouch! I’m like, “Dude, watch it!” But he just laughs and runs off. Kids, man. After that, I decide to grab some lunch. I’m thinking, “Let’s hit up that place on Strada Călărașilor.” You know the one? They have the best mici in town. I get there, and the line is out the door. I’m like, “Great, just what I need.” But I wait, because I’m determined. Finally, I get my food, and it’s glorious. I take a bite, and it’s like fireworks in my mouth. I’m in heaven! But then, I spill some sauce on my shirt. Classic me, right? I’m sitting there, trying to wipe it off, looking like a total mess. Then, I decide to take a stroll by the river. The Mureș is looking pretty today. I’m just walking, enjoying the view, when I see this couple taking selfies. They’re all lovey-dovey, and I’m like, “Ugh, get a room!” But then, I can’t help but smile. Love is cute, I guess. But then, I trip on a rock. Like, how clumsy can I be? I almost faceplant into the river. I’m laughing at myself, thinking, “This day is a rollercoaster!” As the sun starts to set, I head back towards the center. I pass by the old church on Strada Bisericii. It’s beautiful, all lit up. I stop for a sec, just appreciating the vibe. Simeria has this charm, you know? It’s chaotic but cozy. Finally, I end my day at a bar on Strada Unirii. I grab a drink, and I’m just reflecting on the madness. I mean, from pigeon poop to accordion players, this city is wild. But I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Simeria, you crazy, but I love ya! So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but hey, that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
