Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a glazier in Snagov is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m thinkin’, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was anything but. First off, I hit the road on Strada Căprioarei. Traffic was a mess. Like, come on, people! It’s not a parking lot! I’m sittin’ there, honkin’ my horn, and this dude in front of me is just vibin’ to his music. I’m like, “Bro, you do realize we’re not at a concert, right?” Finally, I get to my first job at a fancy villa by the lake. You know, the one with the view of Snagov Monastery? Yeah, that place. So, I’m unloading my tools, and I drop my favorite glass cutter. Ugh! It shatters. Just like my hopes for a smooth day. I’m cursing under my breath, thinking, “Great, just great.” But whatever, I grab my backup cutter and get to work. The client, this posh lady, comes out. She’s all, “Make sure it’s perfect!” I’m like, “Lady, I’m a glazier, not a magician.” But I smile and nod. You gotta keep the clients happy, right? As I’m working, I notice the view. The lake is glistening, and I can see people kayaking. I’m like, “Man, I should be out there, not stuck here with this glass.” But then, I remember the bills. Adulting sucks, man. Anyway, I finish the job, and it looks good. I’m feeling proud, ya know? But then, the lady starts nitpicking. “Oh, there’s a tiny smudge!” I’m like, “Lady, it’s glass, not a Picasso!” But I clean it up, just to keep the peace. Next, I head over to Strada Pădurii for another job. This one’s a repair. I get there, and the guy’s like, “I need it done ASAP!” I’m thinkin’, “Dude, I’m not a superhero.” But I get to work. While I’m there, I hear this loud noise. Turns out, it’s a bunch of kids playing soccer in the street. They’re yelling and laughing, and I can’t help but smile. Reminds me of my childhood. But then, one of them kicks the ball, and it comes flying at me! I duck just in time. “Hey, watch it!” I shout. They just laugh. Kids, man. After that, I’m finally done with the repairs. I’m exhausted but happy. I pack up my stuff and head to the local café on Strada Principală. I need a coffee, like, yesterday. I order a cappuccino, and the barista, this cool dude, gives me a free pastry. Score! I sit outside, enjoying my coffee, and I see the sunset over the lake. It’s beautiful. I’m thinkin’, “This is why I love Snagov.” The vibe, the people, the lake—it’s all good. But then, my phone buzzes. It’s my boss. “We need you for an emergency job!” I’m like, “Seriously? Can’t a guy catch a break?” But I can’t say no. So, I chug my coffee and head out again. The emergency job is at some old building on Strada Mănăstirii. It’s a mess. I’m sweating, cursing, and just trying to keep my cool. I finally finish, but I’m so tired. I just wanna go home and crash. As I’m driving back, I can’t help but think about the day. It was wild, emotional, and full of surprises. Snagov, you never cease to amaze me. I love this place, even when it drives me nuts. So, yeah, that was my day. Just another crazy, chaotic, beautiful day in Snagov. Can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow!
