OMG, what a day! Like, seriously, I can’t even. So, I’m a Maiko, right? And today was just... wow. Straja, you wild place! First off, I woke up late. Ugh, my alarm didn’t go off. Classic me. I had to rush through my makeup. You know, the whole geisha vibe—white face, red lips, the whole shebang. I looked in the mirror and thought, “Girl, you better slay!” But then I realized I was gonna be late for my gig at the Straja Cultural Center. Panic mode activated! So, I dashed outta my place on Strada Muncii. The streets were packed! Like, what’s up with that? I swear, everyone and their grandma was out today. I almost tripped over some kid’s skateboard on Strada Tineretului. Like, dude, watch where you’re going! Finally made it to the Cultural Center. Phew! But then, surprise! The event got moved to Strada Principala. Ugh, seriously? I was so mad. I mean, who does that? I had to sprint again. My obi was slipping, and I was like, “Not today, fashion disaster!” When I got there, the place was buzzing. People everywhere! I was feeling all the vibes. I started performing, and wow, the crowd was lit! They loved it. I was dancing, twirling, and feeling like a queen. But then, outta nowhere, this guy in the front row started yelling, “You call that a dance?” I was like, “Excuse me?!” I almost lost it. But then I remembered my training. Breathe, girl, breathe. So, I just smiled and kept going. The crowd cheered louder. Take that, heckler! After the show, I was on a high. I mean, who doesn’t love applause? I wandered down Strada Florilor, feeling like a superstar. But then, I saw this cute little café. I had to stop. Coffee? Yes, please! I ordered a cappuccino, and while I was waiting, I overheard some tourists talking about the best places in Straja. They were raving about the view from the Straja Peak. I was like, “Duh, of course!” I mean, have they even been? It’s breathtaking! But then, my coffee came, and it was, like, the worst ever. I took a sip, and it was cold! I was so annoyed. I mean, how hard is it to serve hot coffee? I sent it back, and the barista looked at me like I was crazy. I was like, “Girl, I’m a Maiko. I deserve better!” Finally, I got a hot one, and it was divine. I sat outside, soaking in the sun, and just watched the world go by. Straja is so beautiful. The mountains, the trees, the people. It’s like a postcard. But then, out of nowhere, it started to rain! I was like, “Are you kidding me?!” I grabbed my umbrella, but it flipped inside out. Classic! I was soaked in seconds. I ran for cover under a shop awning on Strada Victoriei. While I was waiting for the rain to chill, I met this old lady. She was so sweet! We started chatting about Straja and her favorite spots. She told me about this hidden garden near the old church. I was like, “I need to check that out!” Eventually, the rain stopped, and I made my way home. I was exhausted but happy. Straja, you crazy city! You’ve got my heart. I can’t wait for tomorrow. Who knows what will happen next? So, yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but that’s life, right? Can’t wait to do it all again!
