Man, what a day in Tecuci! Seriously, I can’t even. Woke up thinking it’d be chill, ya know? Just another day in this little town. But nah, Tecuci had other plans. First off, I hit the streets. I mean, who doesn’t love a stroll down Strada 1 Decembrie? It’s like the heart of the city, right? But lemme tell ya, the traffic was nuts! Cars everywhere, honking like they were in a race. I swear, I almost got run over by a dude on a bike. Like, chill bro, it’s not the Tour de France! So, I’m walking, minding my own biz, when I spot this cute little café on Strada Mihai Viteazul. I’m like, “Perfect! Coffee time!” I order my usual – a cappuccino, extra foam, please. But the barista? She spills it all over the counter! I’m standing there, just staring. Like, really? My caffeine fix is gone! I was ready to throw a fit, but then she gives me a free pastry. Okay, I forgive you, girl. After that, I decide to hit up the market. You know, the one near the park? It’s always buzzing with life. Fresh fruits, veggies, and all that good stuff. I’m browsing, and I see this old lady selling the biggest tomatoes I’ve ever seen. I’m talking like, “Are these tomatoes or basketballs?” I had to buy one. Just had to. But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, knocks into me, and my precious tomato goes flying! I’m like, “Nooooo!” It splats on the ground. I’m standing there, heartbroken. The kid just laughs and runs off. I’m fuming! Like, who raised you, kid? Anyway, I try to shake it off. I head over to the park, hoping for some peace. But nope! There’s a bunch of teenagers blasting music. I mean, I get it, you wanna vibe, but come on! I’m trying to enjoy nature here! I sit on a bench, and this old man next to me starts chatting. He’s telling me stories about Tecuci back in the day. Like, did you know there used to be a train station here? Crazy, right? Then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring! I’m talking full-on rainstorm. I dash for cover under a tree, but it’s not helping much. I’m soaked! I’m laughing at this point. Like, really, Tecuci? You’re gonna do me like this? Finally, I decide to call it a day. I’m walking back home, drenched, and I pass by the old church on Strada Calea Galați. It’s beautiful, even in the rain. I stop for a sec, just taking it all in. This town has its quirks, but it’s home, ya know? So, I get home, throw my wet clothes off, and just crash on the couch. What a rollercoaster! Tecuci, you wild! I love you, but you gotta chill sometimes. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
