Man, what a day! I swear, Telega (ro) really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill.
First off, I hit the road on Strada Principală. Traffic was a nightmare. Like, seriously, who taught these drivers how to drive? I’m just trying to get to my job as an anticorrosion agent, and these folks are acting like they’re in a demolition derby. I’m sitting there, fuming, thinking, “C’mon, people! We’re not in a Fast & Furious movie!”
Finally, I get to the site. It’s this old factory on Strada Fabricii. You know, the one that looks like it’s about to collapse? Yeah, that one. I’m all geared up, ready to do my thing. But guess what? The client forgot to order the anticorrosion stuff. Like, are you kidding me? I’m standing there, looking at this rusty hunk of metal, and I’m like, “Dude, you had ONE job!”
So, I’m pacing around, trying to calm down. I decide to grab a coffee from that little place on Strada Călărași. Best coffee in town, no joke. I walk in, and the barista, Maria, is like, “Hey, you look stressed!” I’m like, “You think?!” But she’s got this smile that just lights up the room. I order my usual—double espresso, extra shot. I need the caffeine, man.
While I’m waiting, I see this kid outside, selling flowers. He’s got this huge grin, and I’m thinking, “Man, I wish I had that kind of energy.” I buy a couple of flowers, just to brighten my day. I mean, who doesn’t love flowers, right?
Back to the factory. I’m trying to salvage the day. I start brainstorming ways to fix the corrosion without the right materials. I’m like a mad scientist, scribbling notes on my phone. Then, outta nowhere, my buddy Alex shows up. He’s a total goofball, but he’s got some good ideas. We end up laughing so hard, I almost forget about the mess we’re in.
But then, bam! My phone buzzes. It’s my boss. He’s like, “Where’s the report?” I’m like, “Dude, I’m in the middle of a crisis here!” He doesn’t care. Just wants the report. Ugh! I’m about to lose it.
After a long day of chaos, I finally wrap things up. I’m walking down Strada Tineretului, just trying to decompress. The sun’s setting, and it’s kinda beautiful. I see families out, kids playing, and I’m reminded that life’s not all about work.
I stop by that little park near the old church. You know the one? It’s got those weird statues that look like they’re from another planet. I sit on a bench, take a deep breath, and just chill for a sec.
Then, I see the flower kid again. He’s still smiling, still selling flowers. I walk over and buy a few more. I mean, why not? Life’s too short to be grumpy.
As I head home, I can’t help but laugh at the day. It was a rollercoaster, for sure. Telega (ro) is wild, but it’s my wild. And honestly, I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
