Man, what a day! I woke up in Tulcea, and I swear, I thought I was in a movie. You know, the kind where everything goes wrong but somehow ends up okay? Yeah, that was me today. So, I’m an anticorrosion agent, right? Sounds fancy, but really, I just make sure metal doesn’t rust. Boring, I know. But today? Oh boy, it was anything but boring. I started my day on Strada 9 Mai, grabbing a coffee at this little joint called “Cafeneaua de pe Faleza.” Best coffee in town, no cap. I mean, I could feel the caffeine hitting me like a freight train. Then, I had to head to the port. You know, the one by the Danube? It’s beautiful there, but man, the smell! Like, who decided that fish guts were a good idea? Anyway, I was checking out some old boats, and I swear, one of them looked like it was about to sink. I was like, “Dude, you need some serious anticorrosion love.” But then, outta nowhere, this seagull swoops down and steals my sandwich! Like, what the heck? I’m just standing there, mouth agape, watching my lunch fly away. I mean, come on! I was so mad, I almost threw my coffee at it. But then I thought, “Nah, that’s just wasteful.” After that, I had to meet a client on Strada Isaccei. This guy was late, of course. Typical. I’m standing there, looking like a lost tourist, when I see this street performer. He’s juggling flaming torches! I’m like, “Dude, you’re gonna set yourself on fire!” But he’s all smiles, and the crowd is loving it. I can’t help but laugh. Finally, my client shows up, and he’s all flustered. Turns out he got stuck in traffic on Bulevardul 1 Decembrie. I mean, who doesn’t know that road is a nightmare? We start talking about rust prevention, and I’m trying to keep it interesting, but he’s just nodding off. I’m like, “Bro, this is important stuff!” Then, out of nowhere, a dog runs by, chasing a cat. And guess what? The cat jumps right into our meeting! I’m dying laughing, and my client is just staring, like he’s never seen a cat before. I’m thinking, “Dude, you need to get out more.” After that, I needed a break. So, I hit up the Tulcea Aquarium. It’s small but cool. I’m watching these fish swim around, and I’m like, “Man, I wish I could just chill like that.” But then I see a kid tapping on the glass, and I’m like, “Bro, stop! You’re stressing them out!” By the time I left, I was feeling all kinds of emotions. Happy, annoyed, surprised. It was a rollercoaster. I decided to walk along the Faleza, just to clear my head. The sunset was insane! Like, orange and pink everywhere. I took a moment to just breathe it in. But then, I tripped over a rock. Classic me, right? I’m sprawled out on the ground, and this old lady walks by. She just looks at me and says, “You okay, young man?” I’m like, “Yeah, just practicing my yoga.” She chuckles and keeps walking. Finally, I made it home, exhausted but happy. Tulcea, man. It’s wild. One minute you’re dealing with rust, the next you’re dodging seagulls and tripping over rocks. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. What a day!
