Man, what a day! I swear, Ungheni really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I’m a car instructor, right? And today was just... wow. Started off chill, cruising down Strada 31 August. You know, the one with all the cafes? I was thinking, “Today’s gonna be easy-peasy.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. First student, a dude named Alex. Nice guy, but man, he was nervous. Like, sweating bullets. We hop in the car, and he’s like, “I can’t do this!” I’m like, “Bro, just breathe!” But then, he slams the gas instead of the brake. We almost took out a street vendor on Strada Mihai Eminescu. I mean, c’mon! That guy was just trying to sell his hotdogs! After that, I needed a coffee. Hit up that little spot on Strada Tineretului. Best cappuccino in town, no cap. But while I’m waiting, I see this old lady trying to cross the street. She’s like a ninja, dodging cars. I’m thinking, “Lady, you’re a legend!” But then, she trips. My heart dropped. But she just laughed it off. I was like, “Wow, I need that kind of spirit!” Next up was Maria. Sweet girl, but she had a lead foot. We’re on Strada Republicii, and she’s zooming like we’re in a Fast & Furious movie. I’m yelling, “Slow down!” But she’s got her music blasting. I swear, I could feel my heart racing. Finally, I had to grab the wheel. “Chill, Maria! We’re not in a race!” Then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring. Like, biblical rain. We’re stuck at a red light on Strada Vasile Alecsandri, and I’m just watching the water flood the streets. I’m thinking, “Great, just great. Now we’re gonna float away.” But Maria? She’s laughing! “This is fun!” I’m like, “Fun? We’re gonna need a boat!” After the rain, things got weird. We’re driving past the park, and I see a bunch of kids playing soccer. One kid kicks the ball, and it lands right on our windshield. I’m like, “Dude, really?” But the kid just waves and shouts, “Sorry!” I couldn’t help but laugh. Kids are wild. Finally, I had a break. I parked at the old train station. It’s kinda creepy but cool. I sat there, just thinking. Ungheni has this vibe, you know? Old buildings, new life. It’s like a mix of history and chaos. I love it. But then, my phone buzzes. It’s Alex again. “I’m ready for round two!” I’m like, “Dude, you sure?” But he shows up, and he’s got this fire in his eyes. We hit the road again, and this time? He’s nailing it! I’m so proud. By the end of the day, I was exhausted. But you know what? I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Ungheni, with all its quirks and craziness, is home. And I wouldn’t want to teach anywhere else. So yeah, that was my day. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. Just another day in Ungheni!
