Man, what a day! I swear, Viziru really knows how to throw a curveball. Woke up this morning, sun shining, birds chirping, thought it was gonna be chill. LOL, boy was I wrong! First off, I hit the streets of Strada 1 Decembrie. You know, the one with all the cafes? I was craving a coffee, like, NEEDING it. So I pop into this little joint, Café Vizi, right? The barista, this dude with a wild beard, takes forever. I’m like, c’mon man, I got places to be! Finally, I get my coffee, and it’s cold. Like, ice-cold. Ugh! So I’m fuming, right? I step outside, and boom! I trip over a cobblestone. Classic Viziru! I’m on the ground, coffee splattered everywhere. I’m like, “Great, just great!” But then, this old lady walks by, and she’s cracking up. I can’t help but laugh too. It’s like, what else can you do? After that, I decide to stroll down Strada Libertății. It’s a nice street, full of life. Street musicians, vendors selling all sorts of stuff. I see this guy selling langosi, and I’m like, “Yesss!” I grab one, and it’s hot and crispy. Best decision ever! I’m munching away, feeling like a king. But then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring. I mean, like, monsoon level! I dash for cover under this awning on Strada Mihai Viteazul. I’m soaked, and my langosi is getting soggy. Just my luck, right? I’m standing there, trying to stay dry, and I see this couple running by, laughing and splashing in the puddles. I’m like, “Why can’t I be that carefree?” Finally, the rain stops, and I’m back on my feet. I head towards the park near the Biserica Sf. Nicolae. It’s beautiful there, but today? It’s packed! Kids running around, people chilling. I find a bench, plop down, and just breathe. Then, this kid comes up to me, all excited. He’s like, “Mister, wanna play soccer?” I’m like, “Dude, I’m not dressed for that!” But he’s so pumped, I can’t say no. So, I end up playing soccer with a bunch of kids. I’m terrible, but they don’t care. We’re laughing, kicking the ball around, and for a moment, I forget about everything else. But then, I get a text. My boss is like, “Where are you?” Panic mode activated! I’m like, “Crap, I’m late!” I sprint back towards Strada Unirii, dodging people left and right. I’m a mess, hair all over the place, but I don’t care. I finally make it to the office, and my boss is waiting. He looks at me, and I’m thinking, “Oh man, I’m in trouble.” But then he just laughs. “You look like you’ve been through a war!” I’m like, “You have no idea!” After work, I hit up a bar on Strada Tineretului. Needed a drink after that chaos. I order a beer, and the bartender is super chill. We start chatting about Viziru, and he tells me about this hidden gem of a place I’ve never heard of. I’m like, “I gotta check that out!” So, I head home, exhausted but happy. Viziru, you crazy city! You’ve got me laughing, crying, and everything in between. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
