Man, what a day! I swear, AEngelholm really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I roll outta bed, right? It’s like 7 AM, and I’m already late for work. Typical. I’m a dental tech, so you know, teeth and all that jazz. I grab my coffee from that little café on Storgatan. Best coffee in town, no cap. Anyway, I’m chugging my coffee, and I spill it all over my shirt. Great start, huh? I’m like, “Awesome, just what I needed.” So, I rush to the clinic, dodging people on the sidewalk. You know how it is on Järnvägsgatan—always packed. I’m weaving in and out like I’m in some kind of obstacle course. Finally, I get to work, and my boss, Lars, is already on my case. He’s like, “Where have you been?” I’m thinking, “Dude, it’s not like I’m late every day!” But whatever. I just smile and nod. So, I’m in the lab, working on this crazy denture for a client. It’s a whole saga. The guy’s got a mouthful of issues. I mean, come on, how many teeth can one person lose? I’m grinding away, and then—bam!—the machine jams. Ugh! I’m ready to throw it out the window. Then, outta nowhere, my buddy Erik pops in. He’s like, “Yo, you wanna grab lunch?” I’m like, “Dude, I can’t. I’m in the middle of a dental disaster!” But he’s persistent. So, I’m like, “Fine, let’s hit that burger joint on Östra Storgatan.” We get there, and it’s packed. I mean, who knew burgers were so popular? I order this massive cheeseburger, and Erik gets a salad. A salad! Who even orders that? I’m like, “Bro, live a little!” While we’re munching, I see this cute girl at the next table. She’s laughing, and I’m trying to play it cool, but I’m totally eavesdropping. Turns out, she’s from Malmö and just visiting. I’m thinking, “Man, I should totally talk to her.” But then I chicken out. Classic me, right? After lunch, I head back to the clinic, and guess what? The denture is still a mess. I’m fuming. I mean, how hard can it be? I’m sweating bullets, and Lars walks in. He’s like, “You good?” I’m like, “Yeah, just peachy.” But inside, I’m ready to scream. Then, the phone rings. It’s a client, and she’s freaking out about her appointment. I’m like, “Chill, we got you.” But she’s not having it. I’m trying to calm her down, but she’s going off about how she can’t live without her teeth. I’m like, “Lady, we’re working on it!” Finally, the day winds down. I’m exhausted. I step outside, and the sun is setting over AEngelholm. It’s actually kinda beautiful. The colors are popping, and I’m feeling a bit better. I stroll down to the beach, just to clear my head. As I’m walking, I see kids playing, people laughing, and I’m reminded why I love this place. AEngelholm might be small, but it’s got heart. I sit on a bench, take a deep breath, and just soak it all in. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but hey, that’s life, right? I’m just a dental tech trying to make it in this crazy little town. And you know what? I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
