Man, what a day! Seriously, Alby (se) threw me for a loop. I woke up thinking it’d be chill, ya know? Just another day managing the community stuff. But nah, Alby had other plans. First off, I hit up Via Roma for my morning coffee. Gotta love that little café on the corner. The barista, Marco, is a legend. He knows my order by heart. But today? He was outta my fave beans! Like, c’mon, Marco! I was ready to throw a fit. But then he whipped up this crazy mocha thing. OMG, it was like a hug in a cup. So, I forgave him. Then I strolled down to Piazza della Libertà. It was buzzing! Street performers everywhere. I mean, who doesn’t love a good accordion player? But then, outta nowhere, this dude starts juggling fire. Like, what? I’m all for entertainment, but bro, safety first! I was half-expecting him to set his eyebrows on fire. Spoiler: he didn’t. But I was on the edge of my seat. After that, I had a meeting at the community center on Via Garibaldi. I was pumped. We were discussing new events. But then, the Wi-Fi went down. Classic, right? I’m there, trying to connect with everyone, and boom! No internet. I felt like I was in the Stone Age. So, I had to wing it. I mean, I can talk, but c’mon, I need my memes! Then, outta nowhere, my phone buzzes. It’s a message from my buddy Luca. He’s like, “Dude, you gotta see this!” I’m thinking, what now? Turns out, there’s a pop-up market on Via Mazzini. I’m like, “I’m in!” So, I ditch the meeting (sorry, not sorry) and head over. The market was lit! Fresh produce, handmade crafts, and this one stall had the best arancini I’ve ever tasted. I swear, I could’ve eaten a hundred. But then, I see this lady arguing with the vendor. She’s all like, “I want my money back!” And I’m just standing there, popcorn in hand, watching the drama unfold. It was like a reality show. After that, I needed a breather. So, I walked over to the Parco della Rocca. It’s my go-to spot when I need to chill. The view of the castle is stunning. I sat on a bench, just soaking it all in. But then, this kid runs by, kicks a soccer ball, and it hits me right in the leg! I’m like, “Dude, watch it!” But he just laughed and ran off. Kids these days, right? As the sun started to set, I headed back to the center. I was exhausted but happy. Alby had thrown me some curveballs, but I loved it. It’s chaotic, it’s loud, but it’s home. I mean, where else can you have fire jugglers, pop-up markets, and random soccer balls flying at you all in one day? So yeah, that was my day in Alby. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
