Wow, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I woke up in my little room on Via Roma, the sun was shining, and I thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I had a client at 10 AM. This dude, I swear, he looked like he just rolled outta bed. Like, bro, did you even shower? Ugh. But whatever, I put on my best smile and did my thing. You know, the whole geisha vibe—graceful, elegant, all that jazz. But inside, I was like, “Can you not?” After that, I strolled down Corso Umberto. It’s such a cute street, full of shops and cafes. I grabbed a coffee at this little place called Caffè Amal. Best espresso ever! But then, I spilled it all over my kimono. Like, seriously? I was so mad! I mean, who spills coffee on a kimono? Me, apparently. Then, I bumped into my friend Yuki. She was all like, “Hey girl, you look like a hot mess!” Thanks, Yuki, real supportive. But we laughed it off and decided to hit the market on Via delle Vigne. OMG, the fresh produce there is insane! I got some strawberries that were like, the size of my fist. No joke! But then, outta nowhere, it started pouring. I mean, like, monsoon-level rain. I was soaked in seconds. I ducked into a shop, and guess what? They were selling umbrellas for 20 euros! I was like, “Nah, I’ll just embrace the wet look.” So, I’m standing there, dripping, when I see this street performer on Via dei Mercanti. He was playing the accordion, and honestly, it was kinda magical. I felt all the feels. I tossed him a couple of coins, and he winked at me. I was like, “Wow, I’m famous now!” After that, I decided to treat myself. I went to this little sushi place on Via San Giovanni. The sushi was to die for! I ordered way too much, but hey, I’m a geisha, I can eat! But then, I realized I left my wallet at home. Ugh, the horror! I had to call Yuki to rescue me. Finally, I headed back to my place, exhausted. I plopped down on my tatami mat and thought about the day. It was a rollercoaster, for sure. I laughed, I cried (okay, maybe not cried, but you get it), and I spilled coffee on my favorite kimono. Amal (se) is wild, man. One minute you’re sipping coffee, the next you’re dodging rain and eating sushi like there’s no tomorrow. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Well, maybe a dry kimono. But that’s it! So yeah, that was my day. Just another crazy adventure in Amal (se). Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
